A very quiet, idyllic campsite with sites by the water or in the park, some under oak trees. Restrooms are dated, but clean and nicely decorated. Fans of ultra-modern facilities won't be happy here, but those who appreciate peace and quiet will be all the more welcome. We would have loved to stay longer, but unfortunately, the lovely site was fully booked.

The parking space is well laid out and a nice starting point for beautiful bike rides on the Emsauenweg. However, if you want to see the Ems, you are not in good hands in EMSdetten - there is almost no opportunity to experience the Ems. Emsdetten has prevented almost every possibility with fence systems. There are beautiful views of the floodplains. So if you want to experience the Ems, it is better to go to the neighboring town of Greven with the slogan "Greven TO the Ems".
