Beautiful! This camper site is fully equipped with all amenities, including toilets, showers, a disabled toilet, sinks, a washing-up area, a common room for lunch, bicycle storage, free WiFi, a washing machine, and a dryer. This is actually how all camper sites should look. Very practically laid out and neatly maintained. From here, we cycled about 110 km along the Meuse and through the Leudal in 2 days.

Very peaceful location, very friendly staff, excellent sanitary facilities. For cycling and nature lovers: highly recommended: Brüggener Burchrunde. This route follows the Swalm river on the south side and returns via the Brachterwald. On September 5th, the heather was still in bloom, and the observation towers along the way are truly enjoyable. I even extended the route between junctions 97 and 62 with a 16 km loop along the winding Swalm: 07-91-61-87-63-60-62. There are some climbs involved!

Friendly manager, ideally located for visiting the Veluwezoom, but for what is offered and the traffic noise (from the local road that runs right next to it and the elevated highway) far too expensive (€30 per night including SVR discount).

Like almost everyone else, we give this beautiful CP 5 stars. What more could you ask for? Our compliments to Michael and Wendy! Complaining about cramped pitches is unwarranted. We've stayed at other CPs where you couldn't even extend your awning and could only sit behind the camper in the full sun!

If you're looking for peace and quiet and a beautiful cycling environment, this is the place to be! You can do your shopping along the way in Ommen (4.5 km) or Dalfsen. Everything is perfect (Wi-Fi, restrooms, cassette toilets, and greywater disposal). There are no fixed arrival or departure times. Canoeing on the Regge and Vecht (12 km descent) is possible through Peters shipping company in Ommen: a minibus takes you to the starting point.

We were here in early June 2025. A farm campsite for tents in the pine forest and campers in a wooded field. Friendly owners, Simone speaks English. Electricity (pull the lever after inserting!), toilets, showers (50 cent coins), barbecue, Wi-Fi, and covered tables and chairs. From the southeast corner of the pine forest, it's a 650-meter walk through the woods to the sea and a small sandy beach.

We paid €50 for two nights this morning (June 18, 2025).

A beautiful CP on the edge of the beautiful nature reserve La Maremma. Sanitary facilities tiptop in order, is thoroughly cleaned every day. Lovely quiet (sand) beach 7.5 km by bike (electric is recommended). Buy an entrance ticket in the nature center. Never seen so many lizards and (species of) butterflies.

The prices on CamperContact are no longer correct. The new owner does not know (yet) how to adjust them. For the current prices (season 2025) see the photo.

We were here from 20 to 22 May. The water in the lake was just warm enough to swim. Excellent sanitary facilities. Within a few kilometres you are at the Drau and you can cycle (for example first upstream towards Spittal) over the Alpe-Adria-Radweg or Drauradweg.

Quietly situated nice camping. On request you will be taken to Ravenna by bus for €3 pp (where your eyes will not be enough to admire all the beautiful mosaics) and picked up again.

Nice but expensive CP: €25/24h, with a view of Hitler's Eagle's Nest. Sani station (drainage of grey water, automatic cleaning of toilet cassette clean water, all paid) and 2 free to use very clean toilets available. Departure point of the boats is 650 meters walk. Halfway you can also tap drinking water.

Without toilet and shower facilities, the overnight price of €22 is on the (too) high side. The water price has dropped from €3 to €1.50, per 85 litres. But I only need 10 litres. Should I just let the rest drain away? A waste of course and not environmentally friendly. It would be handy if you could fill a 10-litre watering can for €0.20. And it's a shame that you can't get your money back if you stay shorter than planned and have paid in advance.

Very friendly owners. There is ample space for one camper; only electricity, for the rest you have to be self-sufficient. With a fifteen minute walk along the canal you are at the Brusselse Poort, the edge of the center of Mechelen. A visit to the Vrijbroekpark, a few hundred meters away, is also very worthwhile.

the site states that the campsite is permanently closed. all guests are thanked.

We hope to be able to make some long journeys for a few more years, but if that is no longer possible and we have to look a bit closer to home, this campsite will be one of our favorites. What great facilities, beautiful location and possibilities (walking and cycling, nature experience) you have here! We would love to come back.

Such a nice camper place, close to the center and with all amenities, every city and village in the Netherlands should have! Our compliments for Bolsward!
Sitecode: 108327
Lovely quiet location with a magnificent view (as long as places 9, 10 and 11 remain free) over the Mookerplas, St-Jansberg and Reichswald. Beautiful bike ride 20 km: ferry to Cuijk, St. Agatha (monastery garden) bridge to Gennep, along the Niers and Milsbeek back, with special features along the way. Other of also 20 km but with a lot of climbing and descending: junctions 41 45 16 50 08 70 32 33 88 87 18 46 61 42 delicious ice cream at Clevers Plasmolen 41

It might be a nice place another time, but we fled here yesterday morning. There is a terrible plague of flies, I had electrocuted more than 120 in the evening and there were 30 on the adhesive strip. And yesterday morning I was able to continue catching flies again. The noise of the fans was disturbing and the stench was indescribable when the farmer went to empty the slurry cellar. No, we won't be coming back here.

With electricity it now costs £32.50 per night. From the main road you can walk past the campsite to the lake, but be sure to take pruning shears with you to plow your way. The cycling tour around the lake was disappointing: at first (and before returning you have to take the A21 where people drive fast, it was muddy and slippery at the lake. We were able to hose down our bikes at the campsite with our own hose. The bright spot was the Bull- inn across the street from Bewl Lake.

Following their website, we asked for information by email: This is a park with mainly yurts and huts. There is only room for one or two small campers. No electricity, but water, toilet and shower and costs £35 per night (June 2024). We didn't go there.
Sitecode: 62008
We wanted to stay here for a night (Saturday, June 8), but the barrier was locked, no camper, caravan or tent in sight. Also no announcement that everything was/is closed. Booking via their site also does not respond. Very strange!

Very well maintained campsite, nice sanitary facilities with even a bathroom with bath for men and women. Power everywhere. Address is Stour Way, Christchurch BH232PQ. Price depends on the moment in the season. We paid £32 per night for a grass pitch (6 and 7 June). There is a bus stop on Stour Way. You can go to the station by bus. If you know where to find the approach route, you can go to NewForestPark via National Cycle Route 2.
Sitecode: 29014
Place 3 has a nice view as long as there is no camper underneath it right in front of you. In 2nd or 8th place you don't have that problem. Quite large pitches, excellent facilities. We cycled 34 km via occasionally steep route 274 (e-bike required) to Yelverton and from there via national cycle route 27 to Mary Tavi (on paved old railway line). Only a stretch between Mary and Peter Tavi was rocky, after which it was easy to do again with an e-bike.

Now costs (end of May 2024) £25 per night, including electricity.
Sitecode: 9871
Campers must be 5 meters apart at night. There are 3 toilets, one with a shower. These are open at 6:00 am, but are cleaned at 7 am. Toilet now costs 50 pence, shower 2 pounds for 4 minutes. No more tap on the outside wall: everything is behind locks. You can have a watering can or jerry can filled for a fee. Emptying a chemical toilet costs £4.
Sitecode: 72076
Address was incorrect. Must be Faulkland. As a result, we ended up much further north at first. Finally found via very narrow, steep and winding roads. Doesn't cost £12.50 but £31. And you MUST make a reservation via their site (difficult! fill in everything, e.g. 0 dogs, 0 tents, no group leader, etc. etc.)) and pay by credit card. Toilet building is ready.

Apparently the residents want to keep this beautiful spot only for themselves, see photo. We stayed there for a few hours to take a beautiful walk to the lighthouse and chalk cliffs towards Dover. We drove to Rye for the night, on the square near the station (NOT in the station car park!). There it costs £2.5 for a night, but don't go there from Wed to Thu: market build-up for Thursday at night
Sitecode: 70251
Great CP, with high, dense bushes between the pitches. If you arrive on time, you can use electricity. But our TomTom did not know the address, but once in Marck it was easy to find via Campercontact. At the Cousteaux nature center you can use the toilets between 9 am and 4 pm. I don't know if it is open every day. The water tap is missing a hose, so that the water sprays against the wall. Luckily our tube fit.
Sitecode: 42050
We will definitely come back to take walks, explore this beautiful area even more by bike and enjoy the delicious dinners that you can order here. Today we cycled a circuit of 52 km, including a ferry across the Oude Waal and a circuit around the Eltenberg (via Borghees and Stokkum). Delicious Gelateria on the Market in Elten. Another tip: visit Fort Pannerden, 6 km from the camper place (doornenburg ferry.
Sitecode: 74730
Quiet and beautifully situated mini-campsite, passionate owners, own camping (info) guide and hiking guide who is also a nature guide. Plenty of options for walking, cycling, sailing and more. Tip: Walk the Rhenoijsepad clockwise, wearing sturdy walking shoes or boots (currently very wet in places but beautiful), then catering facilities are conveniently located along the way. Fort Asperen is closed Mon, Tues and Wed! Canoeing from Leerdam is wonderful!
Sitecode: 11434
Beautiful campsite, get there on time to find the most beautiful spot. Bus to Plitvice at 9 a.m. and back at 2 or 5 p.m. for €4 pp. Tip: entrance 2 walking route H. Never eaten such a tasty stuffed trout anywhere as here in the restaurant! Tips: take a little walk behind the restaurant down to the lake through which the Korana flows. Bumblebee orchid along the road. 24 km to the north, near Slunj, visit Rastoke: very worthwhile!
Sitecode: 18940
There are facilities: empty the cassette toilet and with the push of a button you can tap 10 liters of water each time!
Sitecode: 294
Route: enter Stadionstrasse! At the end of that you will come to the east side of the Prinz Fritzi Allee. Our navigation directed us to the west side of Die Allee, but you can only get through the park on foot or by bike. There is no water available. For a small amount you can go to the drinking water fountain at the Donau-ursprung: cross the new wooden bicycle bridge, turn left along allotments, at the end of the road left, just over the bridge.
Sitecode: 66221
Great place on asphalt, no mud, grass or stones in your camper! It is doable by bike to Bergen, but there are occasional climbs. Follow bicycle signs for route 1. Currently, June 2022, sections with a lot of road works, including for the construction of bicycle roads, sometimes have to search because signs are (still) missing. You can do that with the card you can get at the reception.
Sitecode: 56381
Fantastic place in a nice area. Owner speaks German. Price is now NOK 345, excluding shower pass.
Sitecode: 53061
Overnight accommodation now costs NOK 170. If you come from the south on the unpaved but beautiful road, it is after the quarry on the left. Signposts only clearly visible if you come from the north. See attached picture.
Sitecode: 47847
Very large campsite, but on the motorhome pitches on the summer dike, right next to a well-maintained but small toilet block, you don't notice that much. Beautiful area for cycling and walking tours through Betuwe and Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Recommended: Amerongen Castle. Downside: only 30 minutes of free WiFi throughout your stay, above that €5 per day!
Sitecode: 46776
If you like peace, nature, walking and cycling from the campsite, beautiful sanitary facilities and very nice managers who have a heart for their business, then this is the place to be! We'd love to come back.
Sitecode: 75206
Quiet, beautiful and rural location spacious location. Ideal to explore the wide surroundings of the Achterhoek by bicycle and to walk there. You can row / canoe on the nearby Oude IJssel. Very friendly owners.
