We stayed one night without a reservation. It was a lovely, quiet campsite despite the many passing visitors. We had a great meal in the restaurant/beer garden. Friendly, enthusiastic staff. A bread roll service was available. The only downside (according to my teenage daughter) was that the shower stalls didn't have doors. Note that I believe they do have a midday rest period.

Pricey campsite, spacious pitches. Perhaps the campsite is too big for the small beaches and the swimming pool. Lots of screaming children; perhaps we're not used to that anymore. Otherwise, the new sanitary facilities are excellent, though installed by a shoddy contractor. Loose taps, missing seals in shower heads, etc. In short, not really our thing.
