Above all, a friendly family campsite. If you're looking for peace and quiet, the low season is an option. For a small additional fee, there are more secluded pitches along the waterfront. Very friendly owners.

An exceptionally beautiful campsite in a very peaceful setting. An excellent base for hiking and cycling. The sanitary facilities are a bit dated and cramped; with these prices, it's conceivable that some people are saving up for renovations.

A particularly beautiful, quiet campsite in a park-like setting. A very friendly manager. He delivers bread rolls to your campervan in the morning. At the rear of the campsite (near the restrooms) is a meadow with several recognizable pitches, some of which are under trees and have their own power hookups. Here, you won't hear the (rarely used) road that separates the private beach from the campsite. From the campsite, you can walk straight into the expansive woods.

Beautifully situated campsite with a very friendly campsite owner... and what peace. This is how every campsite should be.

Pleasantly busy campsite in high season with excellent sanitary facilities and beautiful pitches. You can find a spot yourself after registration / payment. Then walk across the campsite, the most beautiful places are around and behind the river. If you walk further (past the swimming pool) you will come to the second, somewhat isolated field that has its own toilet house, especially for groups ...

What a nice campsite! Perfect for the peace seeker. Large plots and certainly not crowded. Indeed feels like a park.... green lawn under large trees.

Very nicely located. Very friendly manager. In the high season well occupied with the necessary crowds at the sanitary facilities. Reservation (via the web page) is a must to avoid disappointment on arrival. In many cases the plots are not large.

Very nice campsite with excellent facilities! You can swim from a sandy beach to the left of the campsite on the river. The manager values structure and can come across as a bit pedantic.

After a short visit to the (very friendly!) neighbour, we opted for this somewhat more spacious and further away from the road campsite. Surprising to see that most choose a spot with a view of the lake (near the toilet house) while elsewhere on the campsite it is much less crowded. In the evenings it is quite busy around the toilet house/playground.... those who like conviviality are well off in that place. Beautiful campsite.

An excellent campsite for families with children; cozy and plenty of opportunity to get to know the other guests. With the demarcated plots you can clearly see what your place is in the midst of the (many) other places around you. If you walk to the edge of the campsite you have a beautiful view over the lake.

Excellent campsite in a very quiet place. Extensive sandy beach; ideal for lazing around. The access road is easy to do with a (larger) camper. You can also take the ferry; (larger) campers can come along. You can pin at the Dutch-speaking ferryman. On the Facebook page you will find further information..Fjoneferja

Nice campsite to go to if you arrive (late at night) in Kristiansand. The road to it is fine. After a 50-minute drive, we drove our camper to the campsite around 23:00 in the dark. There is no barrier and you can find a spot yourself (as the owners also let us know in advance by email). Because there is (still?) only one sink for doing the dishes, you may have to join the queue.
