Quiet camper site, lovely spacious pitches with panoramic views. We stayed for two nights and both mornings we had a fresh egg and some plums in the camper! Appingedam is a great place to explore by bike. The owner is enthusiastic and very friendly.

Beautiful, spacious camper place. Beautiful in the green. Friendly welcome and reception. But the restaurant ... worthless. Unimaginative menu and the manager (let's hope it's not the owner) is a real witch! Young people run their legs off, super polite, but everything is undone by this lady. She doesn't know what hospitality and an evening out for guests is. Blames guests for mistakes in the kitchen.

Lovely quiet campsite. Spacious pitches, far enough from a main road not to hear any traffic. Cochem half an hour walk. Getting back on the bike will be a thing unless you have an e-bike. Supermarket very far away if you want to leave the camper. WiFi only in the toilet block, otherwise weak. Wonderful showers! Tip, stand further down the site, wonderfully quiet.

Spent Easter weekend here. Beautiful, spacious places. Quiet environment. By bike to Ter Apel and to Emmen. Bus stop in front of the door, so also handy to go to Emmen by public transport. We had a wonderful time. Friendly owner, good sanitary facilities and a great Pizzeria next door.
