Anyone seeking peace and quiet in nature will find it here. It's quite obvious that a lot of work is currently being done on the site, which you could see as a negative if you wanted to. But it also shows that things are being modernized and brought up to date. For example, there are two really great and modern new sanitary blocks that are absolutely impressive! We can highly recommend this campsite. Don't forget mosquito repellent!

Nice little campsite with convenient bus connections to Edinburgh (approx. 1 hour journey). Very friendly operators and very clean sanitary facilities. Everything you need from a campsite is here, the pub in town is worth a visit and the small supermarket (cooperative) has all the basics you need (including vegan alternatives).

Beautifully located place, very friendly staff and extremely tasty pastries. The sanitary facilities are perfectly fine (especially considering the conditions at the place - right on the beach) and the staff make a lot of effort to keep them really clean (which they usually are). However, there could be a few more showers and toilets; if the place is quite full, you may have to queue to shower or use the toilet.

Nice and very quiet campsite, very nice and attentive operators. Clean sanitary facilities, no WiFi on site (there is a hotspot at the front of the barn), very close to the beach. Dogs are allowed on the site and on the beach (sometimes only on a leash in high season) and dog walks are possible directly from the site.
