A little paradise on the Dokummer Ee. Small, cozy, within walking distance of the (surprisingly) beautiful town of Dokkum, right on the water and on a cycling route. We felt completely at home with these fellow motorcyclists. Willem and Moniek.

the first review i read was the negative one. that turned out to be an isolated incident. after our 3 night stay the other reviews turned out to be right. recommendable place!!

We would not have thought of putting our camper in someone's garden (especially because of the privacy for the guest and hostess). We did it anyway and did not regret it for a second. 2 nights became 4! That says enough. Everything was ok. Privacy is guaranteed because Astrid is a nice hostess, who has found the right middle ground between "being there" for the guests and letting them enjoy her garden (with 7 fruit trees) in peace. Wim and Marita (if I remember correctly) recently took over this campsite. We were there for 3 days in the first week of July. You can tell from everything that they want to please their guests. Well... they completely succeed. We cannot think of any areas for improvement. Super!!!! Willem and Moniek

Sabine and John are very nice managers who act as hostess and host. On the Havenkade you face the marina and sit on a lush green lawn next to the camper to enjoy the activity. What more could you want as old water sports enthusiasts... We wholeheartedly support the positive reviews. In short... nothing but praise Moniek and Willem
