At the campsite, Sunday rest is highly valued. We respect that and booked 2 nights on Ascension Day so that we do not have to leave on Sunday. However, that is not the intention, for the Ascension weekend a minimum of three nights must be booked or paid for. That means either arriving or leaving on a working day, or paying for an unused night. Making choices but not wanting to bear the consequences.

What a wonderful, relaxed and friendly place this is! Highly recommended! We will definitely come back.

A very nice campsite with excellent facilities! From the campsite you can cycle in all directions or you can walk a beautiful route along the Franekervaart to Burgwerd and back via Hichtum (7 km). We enjoyed it and will definitely come back!

What a nice place this is! Enjoying a view over the polder and with Leiden only 3 km away is highly recommended. Excellent sanitary facilities, spacious pitches and a relaxed owner. We will definitely come back!
