A top-notch CP, and despite its name, not just for horse lovers. All amenities are impeccable; hospitable owners, beautiful cycling and hiking trails, and a village within walking distance. In short, a top-notch CP, without the horse smell. Giving it 6 stars isn't possible, but it would be well-deserved.

I agree with the previous reviews; I've been to this campsite three times now, and each time I'm pleasantly surprised. The sanitary facilities have been modernized inside, but the characteristic Danish exterior has been retained. The most special feature, however, remains the location; you can choose your own pitch in a nature reserve. 5 stars at the very best, but I'd like to give it six. Until next time.

The friendly and helpful camping owners, the nature, the tranquility and the spacious pitches have ensured that I came back here after 2 nights elsewhere. Village within walking distance, and for cyclists a perfect location. I will definitely come back here, because there is still a lot to discover in Groningen for a Westerner.
