Our most beautiful campsite/pitch during a two-month motorhome holiday through Scotland and Ireland. Thanks to the local authority for this gem. The best sites (in my opinion) are W5/W6/W8-10. Best view of a beautiful river. I would advise against pitches H, C, and L.

Great location on the beach, friendly staff, but... our most expensive campsite in two months of RV vacation. Almost €50 for two people including electricity. Not worth it for a small 50 m² pitch!!!

A truly beautiful campsite, with powdery sand on the beach. Due to illness, we stayed for three nights. We recommend booking pitches 100-104 on Level 7 (the campsite has several stepped pitches). From there, you have a magnificent view of the bay. Down on Level 1, you're at the same level as the permanent camper bungalows, which are very busy. I would advise against booking a pitch on Level 5, as three large fir trees almost completely block the view. The staff are friendly.

At €43 including electricity, this was our most expensive campsite in Ireland. 99% of the pitches were occupied by caravans with awnings. It doesn't provide much peace and quiet for tired motorhome drivers (family parties, lots of children playing). It's worth bearing in mind that you should drive here. Tralee is a lovely town; park by the church.

I can't understand the previous positive reviews for this campsite at all! I wouldn't go here again or even recommend it. Worst campsite on our four-week trip. Pitch on the access road/parking lot, playground for children/teenagers right next door. And €35 for that is outrageous. The cover photos suggest the location.

One of the three best campsites on our four-week wedding tour through Scotland. Fantastic pitches right by the sea. A must-do is the coastal path to Portpartick, a very pretty harbor town. Very clean washroom/toilet block. £35 including electricity. Tip: Visit the Crafty Distillery in Newton. The gin cocktail with burnt oranges and smoked pineapple is unique. A 1.5-hour guided tour of the gin process with tasting is available for £20.

At the rear edge of a typical mobile home site, the pitches for motorhomes and caravans are beautifully located on the edge of the dunes. A short walk to the long, beautiful beach. A friendly welcome, clean restrooms. We were very pleasantly surprised. We would have liked to stay longer.

The location of the campsite is incorrect; it's not in the village, but up the hill to the left. Unfortunately, it's not a campsite, but a large permanent mobile home site. Of the five pitches, three are unusable. Very friendly lady at reception and staff, but: Sorry, the £30 is completely excessive!!! It's unacceptable. Emergency pitch.

Our first campsite on our 4-week Scotland trip with our motorhome. Well-maintained facility, clean sanitary facilities, the bus takes an hour to get to Edinburgh, very friendly reception staff. A total no-go. The rules are more important than the customer! A chainsaw at 1 p.m. on Whitsunday, M.'s sleep was over, abusive staff, complaint rejected, work more important! Impossible. Customers don't count, only rules. I didn't have a campsite in Scotland, never again!
