Absolutely beautiful camping, perfect stop over to visit the Chateau de Chambord. Sanitary blocks were impeccable. We arrived quite late (22:00) , so reception was closed, but they'd left us a map with our name and all information needed. 5-10min walk to local supermarket. If travelling with dogs: quite a lot of mushrooms around, not sure if harmful but better safe than sorry We were actually quite sad we couldn't stay longer! Highly recommend.

The man at the check in didn't really speak English but we made do with my basic French and he was friendly. I thought it was quite expensive. €32 for pitch with electricity. Happy to pay when the amenities are up to scratch but the showers and toilets felt outdated, odd layout and there was a bit of a strange vibe. Our pitch was amongst the permanent caravans which were very messy and cluttered. The lake is a plus, but that's about it...

Perfect stop over if you want to visit Nîmes. We were a bit apprehensive about leaving our camper in a parking, so we opted to stay the night here instead. Please do not underestimate the road to this place: it is NARROW, low hanging cables etc. Avoid Chemin Mas du Diable if you can Campers are parked tight but the serenity of Mr Bernard's backyard and his hospitality makes up for it all.

Lovely quiet campsite (late september) Sanitary block is very basic, men and female mixed. I personally didn't really mind (25yo girl) I felt very safe DOGOWNERS: I was worried coming here with our dog because of the things I read. I think the main part is, to come in mid-low season. There were so many dogs (even the camping owner has a dog) Just walk 10min away from the main beach and you'll be fine. You can even rent a boat which allows dogs

we arrived at 8pm when reception was closed and weren't sure if we were able to enter (we booked 3hrs prior) a very friendly lady helped me over the phone saying we could just drive ahead to our pitch, no reception needed we only stayed one night, very quiet sanitary block a bit dated but clean, shower was a bit messy with water spraying dry clothes walks trails leave straight from the site Nice grocery store 10min walk Definitely recommend
