A fine spot for an overnight stopover. You are packed tightly together in the parking spots marked on the grass. It is also frequently used by cyclists and motorcyclists with tents, so it is busy. Toilets and sinks are clean. The lack of further amenities is a premium, so we find 25 euros p.p. a bit steep for a place like this. In this corner of Slovenia, it is wise to make a reservation, especially in July/August. Several places were already full.

Great spot, locals walk their dogs or swim at the dam. Cozy and charming city center within walking distance. Unfortunately, the local coffee shop isn't open yet. You just can't believe it's free.

You are situated among olive trees and wine racks, with super clean sanitary facilities and electricity included. The pool alone is worth 5 stars, but the wine cooler on the covered terrace next to it actually deserves 5 stars in itself. The white Aurora blend has a rich, sweet taste of honey and wood. Highly recommended. Want to be sure of a spot? Just make a reservation. There was still room for one night for us.

The recipe is well-known: buy 3 bottles of wine, grappa, or olive oil for a night's stay. With a view to brag about and wine that tastes best here. Drink it right away, then. Turn left at the second-to-last house, because going right is a bit narrow. Neat toilet and new shower. 2 euros pp and open until 10 pm.

Great spot for a stopover or transit. In the farmer's backyard, so the cats will come by for a friendly look or to lie down nearby. Toilet and cassette flush tank available. 16 euros including tourist tax. Don't fancy nosy neighbors? Park behind the bathhouse.

Top spot just outside the village by a fishing pond. A separate unit with showers, toilets, and a washing-up area that you can open with your parking ticket. The adjacent tea garden sells drinks, fries, and a sweetened Slovenian croissant in the morning. Paved pitches with wine racks for screening. Ideal for a stopover, but the nearby town and castle are also charming.

Beautiful spot on the edge of the village with grass pavers. For ten euros you get 3 kWh of electricity and 100 liters of water that you can tap using a Gardena connection (or a jug, of course). It is situated along a footpath around the lake, so you are on display. Dumps and trash cans are available, but unfortunately there is no toilet.

This place truly deserves 40 stars. Perched on top of a hill, with sunrise and sunset! For the adventurous drive up (make sure you approach from the south), schnapps or a draft beer awaits. Local products are also available. The owners are super friendly and hospitable. Full-fledged toilets and showers. The swimming pool and outdoor showers top it all off.
