We were in week 34 at this beautiful and neat campsite with beautiful and spacious places, it is definitely recommended, unfortunately the weather was not on our side because you can discover the whole island by bike from the campsite, private sanitary facilities looked neat and clean, it was annoying that there was no stool and I missed a shelf above the sink to put your shower stuff on.

We were able to enjoy from June 23 to 28 at the newly opened mini campsite on the outskirts of Markelo in May 2024 by the very hospitable and friendly owners Edwin and Jeanine. Both the sanitary facilities / the very spacious camper and caravan sites with water connections, 16 amp electricity and waste water drainage deserve a big 10 from us. We will definitely come back to this campsite more often and wish Edwin and Jeanine good luck. John and Hennie Langelaar
