We knew from previous reviews, of course, that the campsite is located near an airport, but *that* close... the noise is sometimes deafening! The highway is on the other side of the campsite... Otherwise, the toilets and showers are okay, and it is a campsite with the characteristics of mass tourism, even in the low season. Are there any upsides? Certainly, a very friendly reception and the beach/sea very close by. Will we come back? Probably not.

Besides being a lovely campsite within cycling distance of Avignon, the staff scores a solid 10 for friendliness and helpfulness. We experienced this firsthand after sustaining burns from hot water. Help came from all sides, including manager Gaudin! In a situation like that, it is especially reassuring to be able to rely on people who can, for example, arrange an ambulance. The facilities at the campsite are top-notch! Five stars are truly well-deserved.

Beautiful campsite with the great advantage that the beautiful Mullerthal hike B2 starts practically from the campsite. Spacious pitches, beautiful surroundings, super clean toilet block, friendly staff, nice bistro... so almost five stars! Now just add a few Wi-Fi transmitters and make the hot shower a bit hotter, and they'll get five stars!

The campsite has changed hands and is now part of Schapenboerderij Westerweg. The layout has remained the same. It's a lovely spot, centrally located on Texel. The pitches are spacious and often have beautiful views. Plenty of privacy. The owner is friendly, and there's a nice farm shop! The sanitary facilities are fairly basic but also very clean. There could be a few more toilets. We'll definitely be back!

It's true, camping here isn't cheap; but where else in Denmark is it? The campsite is in a beautiful area and perfect for Aarhus. The section by the sea is a bit cluttered and very crowded. We chose the section towards the forest; more spacious pitches! The sanitary facilities? They need updating! Will we be back? Yes.

First time at this campsite, and it feels like coming home! Lovely, small-scale with super spacious pitches. A bit nostalgic and a slight longing for that old-world camping feeling? It's quite possible... It's true that the restrooms are basic, but I'd rather have clean, basic facilities than a modern restroom that's neither clean nor fresh. A surprising number of Dutch guests, who we believe all share the same positive experience!

What a great place! Nice small-scale campsite in a prime location. Main town Den Burg is five minutes away. Friendly owners without fuss. The lawns are nice and flat and you have enough space for a camper or caravan. The sanitary building only has private cabins and that is nice. We have never found a blemish and that is even nicer. We hope to come here often to enjoy this place and the beautiful Texel

What a great place! We experience the charm of small SVR campsites time and again. No trendy reception, no (busy) swimming pool, no activities team... But the space, the view from under your awning, the personal and friendly welcome and the peace! Poldercamping De Kooi is no exception. The fact that you also have very clean and neat private sanitary facilities here is absolutely great. And then the location: Utrecht and Loosdrechtse plassen nearby

What a nice and special place for a campsite! Nice spacious pitches, excellent sanitary facilities, nice restaurant, friendly reception and price-quality is okay. But the special thing is that you sit on top of a cliff overlooking the beach where thousands of young soldiers gave their lives during D-Day, so we can now be free at this campsite! We owe them many thanks!

beautiful and quietly located mini-campsite on a farm. the reception by Paula was very pleasant. the sites are paved for caravan or camper and spacious! Waking up in the morning by a crowing rooster and some cow sounds in the evening is just part of it and is not annoying. The toilet building is simple but efficient and clean. the location of the campsite is favorable, between the port town of Oudeschild and the main town of Den Burg. price-quality okay.

yes, this is really a 5βοΈcampsite! beautiful sanitary building, spotlessly clean and lovely hot water for washing dishes and in the showers (included). Our spot on the new camper section 'De Schorren' was wonderful, spacious and quiet. the location is central on the island, perfect for nice cycling trips. one area for improvement? bread service in the morning. but otherwise 100% great!

very nice campsite in a very beautiful place! the pitches are spacious and the facilities are excellent. What is striking is the excellent communication between the people of 't Geuldal and the camping guests. We were there with the Amstel Goldrace and received information via app about the accessibility of the campsite due to the closure of the access road. Even when there is a threat of high water, the information is perfect. By bike you can reach Maastricht in no time. yes, we will come back here too!

what a nice place! okay, it's still under development, there is only one sanitary unit but it is kept very tidy. there are six camper spots, with a view of the jetty with boats. Many more places could be created, but then some stuff from the yacht yard would have to be cleared away and at least an extra sanitary unit would have to be installed. the location is perfect compared to the center of Haarlem. 15 min. cycling. we will be back

Camping Omaha Beach is highly recommended. actually a place where you really have that camping feeling. The sanitary building has a somewhat nostalgic appearance, but when we were there it was spotless (or very clean as our Belgian neighbors said). you can enjoy good food there for a reasonable price, the reception is very friendly and the places are spacious. The environment is special. Even if the landing beaches may have become a bit 'commercial'

we were there for four nights and indeed we were awakened by the bell ringing of the monastery a little further on. Strangely enough, you get used to it very quickly. It didn't wake us up more often and only heard it during the day, but it just became a familiar sound. Five stars from us because everything is right on this campsite, spacious pitches, spotlessly clean everywhere and perfect location. Plus the friendliness at reception. We come back! Wim&Bianca.
