Tried to visit but closed mid September to early December. Camper Contact says it is open. It’s not. Please amend your details.

Positioned on a steep hillside and established in 1959. Very professional service at reception and satisfactory restaurant. Big supermarket. Camper van pitches often small and cramped (though some with excellent views) but you can find super sized shady camper van pitches at the end of rows of tent pitches. Be prepared for a lot of steps! Shower block ok but needs an upgrade.

Paid 18 euros. Stayed 1 night. Rather quirky and needs an upgrade but generally ok. Well positioned for Font Romeu and train jaune. Flat pitches. Open air buvette round the corner sold basic meals with nice atmosphere. Restaurant opposite was closed during our visit.

We planned to stay 1 night but liked it so much that we stayed 3 nights. Lovely staff, bread service, small (but adequate)shop, flat & roomy pitches, great views, lovely but unheated pool. We went midweek in low season so the restaurant was only open at weekends. Good local walking, plus volcanic national park near Olot, Besalu, Santa Pau. If restaurant open and pool heated I would have rated 10.

Free aire (no facilities) by the river and with great view of ruined chateau above. Flat parking and some shade. Cafe des Sports friendly and had free saxophone concert. Restaurant opposite mairie was having very popular pizza evening. Delicious.

Excellent, clean, welcoming. Electricity no charge. Busy. We got the last space when we arrived about 19.00. Free if you eat on the restaurant 9 euros for hearty, straightforward meal. Only downsides - only one shower, and no shop close by. Otherwise, highly recommended. Buy bus tickets and refundable bus card in the restaurant for journey in to Ljubljana.

Friendly staff, though tired at end of season! Adequate site, with shop. Well positionfor beach and access to Trogir. We cycled along promenade, then new marina, then rather dodgy wasteland and side street to avoid most of main road to Trogir. Also don't miss nice old style restaurants in fishing village 5 mins walk left along promenade before marina - much more atmospheric than touristy Trogir.

Has potential to be good. Obviously new facilities but not thought out too well. Nice grounds in hotel but grass looked v damp so managed to park on hard standing. Limited electricity at the moment. 1 km to tram for centre. Hope it gets better as it could be lovely. Near airport and main road but not too bad.

Adequate, but nothing special except that it is in Dubrovnik. And expensive, of course, due to location. Convenient for bus to old town, but be prepared for walk up the road to bus stop! Buses run every 10 mins. Restaurant looked good - we only had a coffee there.

Perfectly adequate though shower block definitely needs refurbishing. Easy to access Lucca. 10 mins on bike max. Downside......how dare they charge 25 euros! But we chose it for the security aspect. Good meal at the lively tennis club opposite (Saturday night). Da Pallo. Wifi at office only.

Brilliant. Welcoming staff. Restaurant, pool, shop, elec included in price. Huge pitches. About 30 mins on bike along the river to Florence (not 15 mins unless you are Bradley Wiggins) but easy and no traffic apart from hordes of coach tour passengers at one point. 33 euros + 3 euros tax in mid September.

........10% discount for cash........ Beware of gps directions through the town. We followed the sat nav and ended up in the pedestrian zone. Don't be tempted to turn off left into small streets. Go straight to the sea front and turn left, then use the 'bridge' with traffic lights to get to the east of the town.

Excellent free stopover as it is off the motorway but not far away. Noisy traffic overnight but it didn't bother us too much. Peaceful atmosphere at the marina, but with a bit of life. We've been twice and each time it has been pretty full, so be warned! No facilities.

Completely free with free electricity and lovely view. Shop nearby and old walled town has character, if rather sleepy. Helpful tourist office but limited opening hours. Convenient for surrounding sites. We travelled to montefollonico, pienza, and bagno vignoni and then came back to stay here a second night.

A good find after a long day. You need coins to feed the pay and display meter. 7 euros for 24 hrs. Plenty of campers in a separate area of a car park by the station. Interesting old town and we followed a local recommendation to a good traditional restaurant - the marquesa- and had a lovely meal. Well priced and friendly. Would stay here again. Good view of mountains.

Lovely pool &sunsets. Big site with many permanently pitched caravans. Ok for people who are not 100% comfortable with naturism, as the dress/undress code is quite relaxed. No clothes on the beach or at the pool- otherwise please yourself. Big range of pitches, some luxury sea front spots, some rectangular pitches quite close to the sea, some more 'free form' pitches further back.

We agree that this site is pricey but it's lovely and much nicer than kamp koren, which is v cramped by comparison. We tried the excellent restaurant one night. V good but not cheap. Site was full of canoe mad people having fun in the amazingly beautiful river.

Yes, I agree with the other reviews! Lovely host, who came to fetch us when our sat nav took us to the wrong place, & gave us welcome drink. It's a bit tricky to find but once there it's lovely. Steep but short walk down to town. Mercury mine v interesting, plus the museum in the castle and the lady who makes and sells lace in the little shop next door. Don't miss the bee house.

We had planned to stay in Bled, but were recommended to come here and are glad we did. Bled is beautiful but oh so touristy. Good site, easy to walk to town restaurants. Slightly odd 'luxury' toilet block but lots of hot water and very clean. Cycle track to lake Bohinj adjacent. Car train arrives at the railway station - interesting history. Would go again.

Convenient for autostrada -not too noisy. Plenty of shade. 25euros for camper &2 people -end June. Next to hotel where apparently you can order take out food or eat in restaurant . Swimming pool, paying. Cycled to Vicenza. 1hr there but only 30ish mins to cone back! Helpful staff provided map (slightly challenging but ok in the end) & bus timetable. Toilet block dated. Hotel disco on 2nd night.

Our second time at this campsite. 22euros for camper and 2 adults in early June. Restaurant adequate after a long day in Venice but could be more interesting. Excellent toilet block. Perfect for bus to Venice. Got 5% discount for paying cash. Mention this when you check in. Useful free map of Venice at reception. Would use this site again if we visit Venice for a third time.

Happy we found this free stopping place. Relaxed and secure feel to the parking place. Simple and straightforward. Would happily use it again.

Adequate and easy to walk to Rovinj. Loud young people's camping group made noise until late. Not overly impressed but quite full so many people must like it. Pitches quite flat and shaded.
Sitecode: 28362
Large, well presented site with many caravans parked longterm but plenty of space for touring campers. Toilet block ok. Good selection of restaurants. Lovely pool. Long beach area - but rocky/slippery- be careful. Professional reception staff. Our first naturist experience but coped ok as there was a mix of clothed/ unclothed campers and we could adapt at our ease.
Sitecode: 23204
Worth every penny. Would come back. Easy to get to Venice on bus. Restaurant ok. Luxurious toilet block. Pool looked good but didn't use it.
Sitecode: 7257
V good straightforward site. Well positioned for walking in to Mantova. Clean toilet block. Pleasant environment with trees. Pitches not marked so some people had taken too much space but not a big problem. Ticket machine not working properly but staff happy to deal with it next day. Hardly any English spoken but we managed to understand each other. Would definitely return.
