Say what you will, this place isn't as bad as its reviews. It's just a parking spot in a big city. We've visited worse ones. Everything you need is there: water, showers, toilets... But it's just a parking lot. Expensive for Norway. But it is also the capital. Perfect public transport connections. Line 31/31E takes you directly to the city center. It's just one stop away.

A lovely place to stroll and spend the night. We paid 150 NOK with the app. We parked in the lower parking lot right by the river. We were completely alone there. Fantastic.

Beautiful place and surroundings. There's a bus stop right on the street. It's tight, but manageable. Quiet in the evenings.

A good place for an overnight stay. No facilities available. Garbage disposal available. Nice surroundings for walking. We spent our last night here. It's not far from the ferry.

Nice spot for visiting the old town. Everything is within walking distance. Located right on the water. Good shopping nearby. Full at Midsummer. Some sites have electricity, and the restrooms are decent. Expensive for Norway, but then, it's Ålesund.

There are many options for overnight stays on the Atlantic Road. Perfect.

A top-notch overnight spot. There are no typical campsite amenities. Parking, trash cans, and a great view. Nothing more. Simply perfect. Good fishing opportunities and hiking trails.

We only filled up water and disposed of wastewater here. The facility makes a good impression.

We got rid of the toilet and the wastewater. It would be nice to have some water for flushing. Unfortunately, it's broken.

A truly beautiful spot. One of the few places on the fjord where you can get to the water for free. During the day, it was very quiet. Occasionally, a boat came by to bring workers to the fish farm. In the evenings, there was a carnival atmosphere. There were simply too many campers. The RVs were stacked high. It's a shame that some people don't realize when it's full.

Nice overnight spot. Water and waste disposal are available. Good hiking trails all around. We spent one night here. Very quiet despite the road. In the evening, sheep and cows came to the motorhome.

Easy parking at the marina. A few spots have electricity and water. Relatively expensive for what you get. Good shopping nearby. Unfortunately, it was quite noisy at night. The village youth were partying and courting at the harbor. You can't really blame them. It's summer, and the nights are warm and bright... Waste disposal is free at the gas station.

Very simple parking space along the harbor wall. Nice front-row view of the fjord. Filming locations for the Netflix series Ragnarok are within walking distance. Otherwise, it's sparse and overpriced. We didn't use the restrooms.

A great spot for visiting Preikestolen. You pay by card at the machine. Electricity isn't available at all sites. The power outlets aren't adequate. There's fresh water, but no waste disposal.

A very simple parking lot next to a railway line. A marina is in front. A good base for walking into town. No typical parking lot amenities. Payment is only possible via an app. We spent one night here.

A beautifully located spot right on the fjord. It's free, so don't expect too much. It was full when we arrived, but we still found a spot down the street. There's a nice beach bar within walking distance. There was even dancing. We'd love to go back.
