We stood in front of a closed gate at 1 p.m. The gate would not open until 3 p.m. A bit of a strange time for a 'city campsite', and for camping guests who want to visit the city from early in the afternoon. But we drove on to the campsite in Ettersburg and from there we visited Weimar.

Simple municipal campsite with partly outdated sanitary facilities. Beach on the doorstep. Some places with sea view. Within walking / cycling distance of the nice town of Quiberon.
