Beautiful, small-scale, and sheltered campsite in an ideal location between Den Burg and Oosterend. The sanitary facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean. A friendly welcome, too. Joost

What a surprisingly beautiful campsite. We were just passing through, but would have liked to stay longer. A beautiful area. Not far from the main road, but still the feeling of the middle of nowhere. Indeed no shops nearby, but a fairly well-stocked camping shop, a restaurant and on the terrace special beer from the area. Highly recommended! Joost

This still seems to be a great CP, as described in previous reviews. Facilities are still available. Too early for us to stop, but I could definitely stay here for a night. Joost

Great CP for a visit to Grenada. There is nothing to do in Marcarena itself. There is a small supermarket. The centre of Grenada and Albaicin can be reached by bike in half an hour. Grenada is not a cycling city, but it is easy to do. The tram stops a few hundred metres from the CP. Facilities are okay. It is clean and everything works. I think there are a few toilets and showers when it is full. Joost

Great place for a visit to Valencia, which can be reached by bike within 30 minutes. Don't expect too much of the ambiance, but the place is safe and has super clean sanitary facilities. The manager José is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended. Joost
