Great campsite on the coast near Porto. The beach is a few minutes' walk away. There are one or two restaurants and cafes on the beach. The campsite is often full, so calling in the morning is a good idea. The surrounding area (except for the beach) isn't particularly interesting. It's a good base for exploring Porto (via Uber/metro). The restrooms are well-maintained. There's also a shop for groceries or baguettes.

Very nice campsite. Lots of campers. Many people are on their way to Portugal, but you can definitely stay here for more than one night. The pool is great, the sanitary facilities are spotless, and the campsite has a small shop. Another great feature is that it's a lovely 10-minute walk to the historic town where you can see and eat. The campsite restaurant is a bit pricey. The campsite is great!

A truly top-notch campsite. There are about 12 pitches for campers, all paved and separated by shrubs. The sanitary facilities are incredibly clean and well-functioning. Hot showers are always available, and you can wash your clothes there. The pool is also incredibly clean and luxurious. Sunbeds with cushions are included! The pool has a small bar where you can get (cheap) delicious drinks. The bar offers stunning views. Highly recommended!

Prime location, right on the sea. Sanitary facilities are very dated and lacking. Reasonably clean, though. Showers and dishwashing are not available between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. La Bernerie is a nice holiday village with amenities (a 5-minute bike ride) and lots of French people. We were the only "foreigners" on the campsite. No mass tourism. Pornic, very nice, a 30-minute bike ride (cycle paths).
