Unfortunately not the same positive experiences as the predecessors. Staff very nice indeed. Swimming pool okay. Sanitary facilities are really outdated and insufficient for such a large campsite. We were on site T66, close to entertainment (what a lot of noise and until very late) and swimming pool. Price per night ABSURD for what you get: 64 euros!!! We left again after 1 night with screeching tires.

2 stars purely for the place. Furthermore, it is all old junk. Fortunately, we are self-sufficient. Very unfortunate, because the location is really TOP! Just outside busy Giethoorn, in the middle of nature. Beautiful area for cycling through Dwarsgracht, Jonen, Vollenhove, Blokzijl, Blauwe Hand, Wanneperveen, Giethoorn, Sint Jansklooster, the Weerribben etc.

Great place to stay! Had no control and stood with 3 other campers. No further facilities, but you can use the toilet at badestrand. Skarhamn itself is a very nice fishing town, which is visited by many sailors. The whole harbor was full!

Beautiful place! Traffic is great. Fantastic view over the fjord. Also spotted a porpoise!!!
