Rhine island with permanent campers in the flight path of Frankfurt. Access via a restricted bridge. The reception is friendly and warm. There is a separate space for passing campers. Small children's playground. I rate the sanitary facilities as satisfactory and clean, but limited to the bare essentials and too small for the number of campers. Visit the city with your own car (20min) or public transport (45min). Recommend Mainz APP

Nice campsite. You can hardly hear the noise of the motorway. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities were OK and clean. It is a good place to stop off on the journey south or back. It is best to arrive at 1pm, then there is still enough time for a trip into the city. Bus and train connections to Karlsruhe city centre are about 15 minutes away on foot. Line 1. approx. 10€

Located in the middle of the wine-growing region. Very poor public transport connections to Beaune. You definitely need a bike to explore the area. Very suitable for stopovers, so ask early about free spaces. The response to the request can take a little longer. Sanitary facilities are old but clean.
