Poorly maintained campsite, a real shame because the location is fantastic. We moved on after one night. The fort was a mess, and the day after we arrived, there was a wedding, so half of the campsite was closed off. Toilets and showers were fine, though.

Great campervan site for visiting Buckeburg, with the castle and helicopter museum within walking distance. Payment at the machine is cash only, and electricity is charged separately at €1 for 12 hours.

A beautiful campsite/campsite situated on the Weser River. The town of Hamelin is within walking distance of the campsite, about 10 minutes. You can also enjoy cycling along the Weser Cycle Path, which runs all the way along the Weser. Luxury showers and toilets are available. Unfortunately, the campsite restaurant was closed due to a shortage of staff.
