Simple, spacious pitches, wonderful hot showers, friendly owner, within walking distance of La Flotte. It's really worth being on the island for cycling and hiking. We went back. Top-notch, no luxury, but adequate. Five stars is for the whole island.

Very friendly service. Clean location, showers at the pool 300m away. Restrooms at Gasthof Goldenes Lamm. Great cycling routes; after 6km, you can take the Bergbahn cable car uphill or take the bus. Discount cards are available. Reutte is within cycling distance. In short, it's worth it!

Beautiful spot, like a campsite, with large pitches. Arrive early, otherwise you might not have a spot. Clean restrooms, and showers are available at the pool. Excellent service. We were also disappointed with the surrounding area, but that's just a personal preference.

A lovely, beautiful spot on the Rhine. There's indeed some noise from the boats, but there's plenty to see. It's a beautiful cycling area and the charming town of Xanten. The restaurant is simple, but the service is good and friendly. You can use the restrooms until closing time. Otherwise, it's self-catering. Recommended for a day or two.

nice parking, but not for sleeping. we started driving again at 01.30 because of the enormous noise of the incessant flow of freight trains and cars. we are also used to some noise at home, but this was not tolerable for us. a parking lot on the other side of the town, e.g. at the REWE would have been better (but you are not allowed to park there). It is a beautiful town, had a nice meal at the Greek, but that noise, brrrrrr.

quiet camper place, between the grapes. we were on a field behind it. Very quiet. Beer garden around the corner, starting point for wonderful bike rides to the Main and along the Main. great. we give four stars because there is a shower, but no toilet. we would have liked that. This appears not to be allowed. had a great time.

Nice campsite on the Rhine. Clean sanitary facilities. Spot is indicated. We paid for a night with camper, two people and electricity a little over 60 euros including electricity. We think that is too expensive. Even to wash dishes you have to pay 10 cents for a little warm water. You can eat there. The managers are friendly, the man a bit special.

Nice stay, very clean sanitary facilities, warm, friendly, relaxed and helpful reception. beautiful town, lovely cycling along the water. We were here before and will definitely come back. Free swimming in the pool next to the campsite. Water is certainly 26 degrees there and comes from the cement factory nearby. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back.

five stars for the friendly owners. 1 shower/toilet building is in use, neat. The other is under construction. Right on the Main. delicious Greek restaurant a 10-minute walk away. By train to Aschaffenburg or Miltenberg. cycling/walking along the Main, etc., etc., quiet area. Nice to do.

what a nice place with nice people with delicious wine to taste and buy. You can eat something within walking distance. There are only a few spots so advice is to call in advance.

friendly welcome, but the evening meal at the campsite restaurant is very poor. Our schnitzel was floating in grease. No green or lemon on the plate. No ambiance inside the "restaurant". Very unfortunate, therefore 1 star maximum. We won't be coming back here. For transit and own food: well, then it's good. enough!

nice, small family campsite, with large shady pitches, directly on a river, also for the larger camper. Very friendly, Dutch speaking host. nice cycling environment. really worth staying here for a few days and unwinding. Definitely five stars for us.
