We chose this site as we saw it was in a national park and by a swimable river/lake. That’s all the highlights. Didn’t eat there as the food looked basic. Surprised to see that for €50 a night (3ppl, small van and electricity) you had to pay extra to go in the pool. Toilets were fine. Hot water for pots unavailable. The river is nice. We had a few swims. Walked to the local village and the bar is nice with friendly. Very overrated & expensive.

Nice campsite with good facilities and c… although beware… they clean one of the blocks at 9am! Then everyone goes to the other one at “rush hour”. At check in, if you use electricity, you’ll be led to your spot by someone with a key for the electric box who’ll connect you. You pay on leaving which means you’re then waiting for the person with the key to let you out too. Quirky. Liked the site, beach and Terra Nova restaurant.

We decided to try Cudillero for 2 nights and needed to get to the site before 12 as they won’t book fewer than 4nts. We did and got a pitch. Pitches are small and you’re close to each other. The facilities are nice. Shop is ok. Bar is ok and you can order bread. We didn’t use the pool. You can walk to Cudillero from there but it’s a big hill back. We cycled to Aguero beach. We tried to book in again on our return leg but it was full. Go early.

We loved this site. A pretty walk to two beaches. The Playa Major is gorgeous. It's a simple campsite with stunning views. Nice and quiet. Just down the road there are two very busy campsites. This one isn't very big. Very nice toilet block and I believe the showers are heated by wood fire. The lady who runs it is Dutch and really nice. You can order bread there but we found a supermarket. Great bakery across from the beach in a side road.

90 minutes from Bilbao and on a path to several beaches. Short walk into town with several bars and restaurants. The site is compact and had decent showers and a cafe that sells pizza, burgers and tapas and local cider. We liked!!
