lovely parking in the woods but little shade. new owners improving facilities and security. easy access to beach. In May none of the bars and restaurants near the beach are open. One km walk to town with excellent cafe, gelato and bakery.

Closed. We passed at 16:20 today to find gate closed, no answer to doorbell or mobile phone. No sign on gate to confirm closure.

Very friendly and helpful. All facilities clean and hygienic. Shuttle to and from Taormina with explanation. Located under the autostrada but quiet at night. Giovanni drives forward on his scooter so you can leave safely. Recommended as the best way to view Taormina. This is a good campground.
