I like camping on the water. And have been in many safer and more beautiful places for less money. What a terrible place to camp, Assen municipality this is to be ashamed of. For this amount, no camper, please drive on and find a safe better place.

Nice and safe place to stay. Sanitary, Wifi, facilities are in order. Easy to Meppel by bike. Cees and Alie very friendly, much success, on to a successful season. Tea house available for a bite and a nice cappuccino! Great, the next reservation is already in the system. See you soon.

Beautiful, very spacious pitches with electricity and water tap. Wifi was not available at the CP. Hot water was not available in the shower. Too bad otherwise we would have stayed longer. Beautiful location near the Scheldt and locks.

Paved pitches, reasonable amount of green between the pitches. Water and electricity available, but make sure you have an extension cable. The grass strip has a lot of dents in it, remember. WiFi is so bad, so don't count on it if you really need it. Order sandwiches (via app if necessary) top service. Sanitary facilities and shower top. Showers better than the toilet. 23 euros per night paid with ACSI card.

For 1 person I paid €23.75 per night including surcharges. Personally, I think it's a bit high for 1 night as a single person. Shower without coins, use sensor. You often have to activate it again, not my preference. Perfect location between Meppel and Ruinerwold, great cycling and dining nearby. Choice of camper pitches and slightly more spacious camping pitches. The option to wash dishes indoors is nice when the weather is colder.

Easy check-in with the pre-booking code. It is not easy to see whether places have already been reserved in advance, which is not useful. New sanitary building, 6 showers and 4 toilets. Not separated, not much for so many campers. Lighting in the park leaves much to be desired, lamps are broken or do not work. Very expensive by camper standards. Especially for a single camper. Great: paved areas! So pluses and minuses.

€15.- for 1 person, because the tourist tax is €5.- I think it is quite high. Noise pollution from cars with music on weekends, into the night. No enforcement. No sanitary facilities. If you like watching shipping, this is the place for you. Cycling path along the water is also pleasant when the weather is nice. Too expensive for without sanitary facilities and toilet emptying impossible and without supervision of the nuisance. While I do the shopping here and support the local shops. Time for an upgrade

Price is for 2 people without electricity. No separate price if you travel alone like me. Showering costs one euro. Sanitary facilities are outdated and deserve more attention and hygiene. Personally, more of a place for the smaller (bus) camper. Close to the center, easy to cycle. There are stones/rocks that become invisible when entering and exiting parking, not convenient. Belongs to the garden center, put beautiful flowers there for marking, tip! Calm :)

Busy camper place. Plumbing needs maintenance on toilet and door handles. You have to set the water temperature in the shower yourself (mixing €1 for 5 minutes). Nice location to go to Maastricht by bike. There is new ground with a piece of grass next to the place, which is nice. Some motor home owners (unfortunately) keep unnecessarily occupied places with their chairs and table in the afternoon and evening to be able to sit in the sun.

With a large motorhome it is really impossible, not the road to it and the maneuvering on the campsite itself. We think this is more a campsite for tents or for the Glamping tents. Washing dishes must be in the same sinks where people wash hands after visiting the toilet, tip for change. WiFi not a good connection, for a fee. This is a nice campsite for families with children.

Great place for this price. Few power poles, so maybe share plug with the neighbors (if you don't use much!) Animals from the "tier park" provide the necessary background noise at feeding times. Pass for the swimming pool (on the hill 2 km away) and free bus transfer included. Toilet available at the tourist office, leave the site and cross the parking space. Mostly gravel, no large strips of grass.

Nice place, safe behind barrier. Sanitary facilities minimal for so many campers. No soap and drying facilities for hands. Bring your own toilet paper. The barrier works well, but it is set very sensitively. That's something to keep in mind. No supervision of BBQ and fellow campers, that was less pleasant. Nevertheless, had a nice day!
