We were up here. Anyone seeking peace and quiet and shy of people can go up here. There's nothing here except a ruin and fresh mountain air. We moved on.

This is an unmarked parking area. The photo suggests a simple RV parking space at a glance. Today, locals parked here with their cars. Brave RVers may want to park here. We spontaneously moved on.

A disgrace for the Saarland capital of Saarbrücken. Adjacent to the German-French Garden.
Sitecode: 162033
A newly constructed parking space. Well-equipped with water, electricity, and Wi-Fi. Surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. Access is only marked with very small parking space signs. Be careful, the navigation system doesn't always show the direct route. Very quiet at night. Payment is accepted with debit card and cash.

We're experiencing a very quiet summer evening here. We're parked at this campsite right on the Saar Canal. The site isn't divided into lots. The ticket machine has a menu in German. You pay €13 by card for the parking fee. Electricity costs €3/8 hours, and water can be booked separately. The small sanitary building was closed. If you're looking for peace and quiet and want to be self-sufficient, this is the place for you.

We parked here on June 25, 2025. Motorhomes are also allowed to stay overnight here. The parking fee is €10 and is payable at the indoor pool. The power supply is broken. Blackwater disposal is available, currently free of charge, as the roller shutter on the motorhome is broken. There's a nice indoor pool, and a natural outdoor pool next door. Both pools require a fee; no discounts are available.

June 20, 2025 Much of what the reviewers wrote is correct. We're having a long weekend, the sun is shining at 31 degrees Celsius, and the trees along the river provide shade. Since there are also short-term parking times for RVs here, arriving as the RVs are leaving is the norm. The riverside promenade, with its tall trees and wide bike path, is very beautiful with the Isar River flowing past. The tourist frequency reflects this. Peace and quiet are nonexistent!

I just read the previous reviews. We arrived here at the beginning of June 2025 with ACSI (€25). No, it's not a luxury site. I'll just focus on the positives. Close to town, good cycling connections on bike paths. A friendly welcome from reception. Small, medium-sized trees provide shade but also allow for satellite reception. Pitches have four water and electricity connections (6A), and hot water is available at all taps throughout.

This place was free last year. Now officially €17.90. No equipment, no VE. Awning or chairs out, none. No service, the operator only draws money here. In Brodenbach, one town further, you can still stand free of charge.
