Cosy and suitable place. Quiet. No welcome basket for us and in the evening and at night there was now a sewer smell. At night the gate is locked. Otherwise as described above. Walking path for walking the dog along the river.

According to a gentleman in the office it was 'closet' in January. Didn't look attractive either, in winter camper storage. And we also drove again...

Only serious camper place on Malta. Stayed here for two weeks, free! Good base. In the weekend some nuisance from loitering youths, incl. drifting and noise from the exhaust. Otherwise quiet and familiar. Maltese come in the weekend with camper. Bring a large supply of water, because water is hard to get on the island. Green chemical can be discharged in public toilet, although the toilet does not always flush. Beautiful view. Buses go regularly (2 euros/trip)

There is water, empty chemical toilet and 2A electricity. Shuttle needed to get to Siracusa. Much to criticize: Lots of traffic noise, all night long! The manager does not speak a word of English. Prices not transparent, now 60 euros for 2 nights in January, excl. shuttle. No rules, certainly not English. Gate closed at 21:00, also walking. Paid 5 euros extra shuttle for dog. Departure before 12:00, so with shuttle you are obliged to pay for 2 nights.

Great camper place. Everything available. Close to the highway to Sicily. Practically on the beach. 18 degrees midwinter. Sunset visible from the camper. Price will increase to 26 euros in 2025.

Great camper place. Unfortunately in the middle of a barking-dogs village. Special experience to walk along the unsafe road to the village. Dogs bark at you from all sides. In short: no walking possibilities and also barking at night.

Also in January great place. Sanitary (of course) closed, otherwise everything present incl. 16A electricity. Especially in the evening it gets busy.

Great camper place, in January about 30 campers. Spacious, guarded. Everything available but basic as you would expect for 15 euros. Beautiful walking area along the lake. You can leave the terrain with a code. Volunteers clean in the morning, then you can also pay. 6 A power connection.

No camper place, we were told. Only allowed during the day during a museum visit. There are no checks outside opening hours (yet).

This piece of unmaintained asphalt is managed by Europark.dk, just Google them, a rogue organization that makes a revenue model from the 'additional tax'. Free parking, but parking card must be in front of the window, without any function. 10% forget that and bingo earns 120 euros. 10% of them manage to upload an objection. A simple calculation shows that this yields more than parking fees. That's called abuse of law.

It looks like a campsite, but without shade and small places, even the 'large' ones with our 8.25 meters. We paid 19 euros without electricity and shower. That's quite a lot for a parking space in the blazing sun next to the black asphalt. After leaving one night, we did not get the money back for the second paid night. If you were 'already booked in', 'you shouldn't have paid for two nights.' Now stand in the shade at the free camper place in Enschede

Beautifully situated on a lake. Circular walk 4 km. It's also a good thing that you have to pay separately for electricity. A somewhat sustainable camper has his own solar panel. Paying separately for toilet would also be a good idea. Each camper has its own toilet. That reduces costs. Campsites have been invented for toilets, electricity, sinks and showers.

We walked into the campsite to get a taste of the atmosphere. Reception closed, but after 100 meters a downright hostile manager approached us as if we were robbing the campsite. Turned around as quickly as possible and drove on. So wait at the reception, even if the closed sign is there, or drive on. Saves an unpleasant experience, hopefully.
