What wasn't clear to us was that this used to be a large campsite, but now a large area is cordoned off by fences, and there's only someone available by phone (so there's no one at reception). The pitches are very large. The road is audible (but not disturbing?).

Friendly and very helpful owner. A nice campervan site for £20 (with electricity). Fort William is worth a visit: the lock complex, Loch Nessie, and the shops.
Sitecode: 159685
A parking lot next to a busy road with space for 15 motorhomes. We wanted to eat at the restaurant, but it was full.
Sitecode: 104955
Great, idyllically beautiful! But we had to get back in the camper at 7:00 PM because we were being eaten by midges.

A parking lot in a remote corner of the village, but with some industrial activity opposite. You can empty your wastewater and use clean water for free; toilet use costs £9. When the center is open, you can use the toilets (showers £3). However, due to staff shortages, the hours vary.

a top spot next to a river

For €17.50, you get a lot: a pitch with electricity and two small bathrooms, each with one shower and one toilet. Personally, I would have separated the toilets and showers. The occupancy indicator isn't adjusted. We were lucky to get the last pitch, but when it was full, the light stayed orange. A beautiful cycling/hiking area! We booked a tour of Achel Abbey, highly recommended!

beautiful place in nature. super sweet owner who let us stay an extra night. there is a smell in the showers but the wonderful rain shower makes you forget that quickly. Visited Nördlingen, cozy town with medieval vibes. beautiful area for gravel biking
Sitecode: 70689
a super nice place, there should be more like this: quiet, free, without facilities.
Sitecode: 28452
nice parking place but we didn't stay because the smell of the garbage bins was enormous. we walked through the village once but we were quickly around.
Sitecode: 106061
nice small camping with many trees and a mini pool. the road to embrun by bike is very busy. embrun is a nice town with 1 long shopping street. walked around "plan d'eau of embrun" and located on the beach.
Sitecode: 78548
there should be more places like this! free, beautiful nature and every camper owner leaves everything clean. we went to visit fort queyras (€13 I personally found too much for what it was...) and drove to saint-veran to walk through the streets, visit shops and see the special houses, we happily accepted the €3 parking fee.

the places have natural shade. the reception was very good. a nice cycling environment. dead village. too few showers, toilets and only 2 sinks. workmen slept in a caravan. their van came back twice at night, they let their engine run for 5 minutes and the car radio was on.

Beautifully landscaped campsite on the river "isere". A food truck came to the campsite. Sanitary facilities VERY clean. It was very hot, we went to "plan d'eau in grignon". I do not give a 5th star because the environment felt "industrial" and there was a lot of background noise from the streets.

because all campsites were full (and the camper place in the center), we ended up here. in the evening some young people hanging around who take a (forbidden) splash. It's ok but in the morning from 5am there is a lot of noise from cars.

after a long search around "aix en bain" we were happy to have a spot. super cool campsite with lots of trees and hidden corners. very friendly owner. only the price was too much for what it was...
Sitecode: 22444
we stood at the back of the meadow behind the square farm. nice place, birds that sing, enough space between the campers to keep it cozy, all costs are written on a beer card. When you take a beer from the fridge, just write it down, have faith! There is also a meadow/camper site across the street. many cycling opportunities, went to the antique market in Tongeren on Sunday.

top spot! €25 for 2 nights + rental of hot tub and sauna. woke up to the sounds of nature, enjoyed a culinary treat in the Merlijn wine restaurant, went to the market in Ypres by bike on Saturday, then went to the Ravenstein wine estate. There should be more places like this!!!

There is no information about opening hours on the website, but we were unable to make a reservation. is this still open?

Glad that some municipalities provide such a camper place and for that price! taking the bus to Hasselt went very smoothly. only the train was very audible at night. we will be back!
Sitecode: 47640
great location! Taking the ferry to the beautiful town is great fun. but... the campsite is way too expensive. if you only stay 1 day you have to stand at the front in the least nice place with only mud...
Sitecode: 53483
cozy furnished motorhome with a grass strip that is more than sufficient. There is a wooden house with information about walks, restaurants, .. The payment system for electricity was not very clear, other campers explained this. mss is it an idea to hang this info in your information house? very nice dinner in la petite étable! Ladder walk is adventurous but tough. we will be back!!!
Sitecode: 10349
top spot. close to the highway. there is a sign in front that someone is coming to collect the €8 parking fee, but we didn't see anyone. just some youngsters hanging around making noise.
Sitecode: 50225
beautiful place with spacious places. we were there shortly after noon and then there were still 10 places, no more places in the evening and the czmping was also complete. cool, shady walking path to carcasdonne. the old part is pretty, the city is less nice. Be sure to keep your entrance ticket with you because you need the code to take water for free for 10 minutes and drive outside.
Sitecode: 97489
green, shady but otherwise little to do. the plumbing is old and smells not so good but ok for that price
Sitecode: 85933
blissful view. basic facilities (I used the shower and toilet of our camper) "posh" environment wife comes round every night to collect the rent.
Sitecode: 94637
we arrived around 9pm and the parking lot was empty. campingcontact's route planner said we still had 600 m to go, but you just have to follow the restaurant's parking lot. a nice free place, you can rest assured.
Sitecode: 12356
shady spots that are very spacious, close to the highway. the area was very busy but when sleeping it worked.
Sitecode: 64341
lots of nature, super large pitches, enthusiastic owner, campsite located at an altitude of 800 meters. did the walk "le grand hohnack", super cool, cool paths, went to a height of 982 m, beautiful view. night market in labaroche was fun.
Sitecode: 56818
municipal campsite, the toilets and showers are old and less clean, the discharge of your toilet paper costs €2. the pitches are spacious, very cheap (€8/day for 3 people) and you are off the road, close to the beautiful ribeauvillé. the 3 castles walk (+/- 10 km)
Sitecode: 65190
elongated campsite with many trees, pleasantly furnished, close to the highway with a rectangular swimming pool (smelled strangely). the road to drive to your spot is narrow, it was exciting to turn in our spot!
Sitecode: 101314
stood here for €12.5 with 3 people and a dog when we came back from the south of France. there was a lot of space, very spacious places, located on the forest where we took a walk with the dog. In the evening we heard the tawny owl. cycled to the bakery in the morning.
Sitecode: 49678
near Ypres, beautiful cycling route, visited last post. the pitches are close together, we were lucky that there were few people and we could stand on the outside but for €9 a pitch with electricity we are super happy.
Sitecode: 102987
we had the town with a small garden, cozy. super friendly reception, clean sanitary facilities.
