Very quiet and, apart from us, empty site. You can pay online when you arrive, and have a pitch with or without electricity. The site is flat and grassy, with an area of hard standing if you prefer it. The lake is quite beautiful, but it does mean there are some midges near the water. If you want peace and solitude, this is the place. We were there in early September.

It's a large site with quite a few static caravans, but the area by the lake shore is reserved for campervans and tents. The ground is mainly flat and firm, well kept and you can get pegs into it. The lake view is beautiful. Cost 400NOK for a campervan and a small tent in early September. Perfect for an overnight stop or a couple of days.

Very quiet when visiting in late August. The ground is a little uneven but generally flat. Certainly flat enough to level a van and pitch a tent. The facilities are heated, clean and tidy, there is a room with a huge firepit, a family room with books, games and a table ,chairs, cooking facilities, plus two other kitchen areas, all free to use. The views of the adjacent river are wonderful. In short, a good site.

It's a huge campsite but, when we visited in mid August, it was almost empty. Well laid out and maintained grassy and wooded areas. The facilities are clean and tidy, with water and grey water disposal points, plus washing machines, free showers and a sandy beach. It's a hidden gem of a site.

The approach looks as if you've got lost, down an unmade track through fields, but this campsite is an oasis hidden at the end. It's spotlessly clean, flat, sheltered, beautifully green, and although there are no toilets or showers, there is water, electricity and a big bin. The owner is very friendly, speaks excellent English and has eggs and honey for sale.

Very friendly staff, quiet, clean and generally ideal, apart from some pitches being on a bit of a slope.
