The sanitary facilities are very basic and when fully occupied there are only a few toilets and showers. The campsite can only be reached via very narrow roads, the kind where someone has to reverse in case of oncoming traffic. The confirmation email indicates the best way to approach the campsite, so please follow it! But this road also states that it is not suitable for vehicles wider than 6 feet 6 inches (1.98 m).

The great charm of this campsite is its location, many places have a direct view of the sea. Shower costs 20p for 3 minutes. Sanitary facilities are mediocre. Because the access road is very narrow and steep and you don't want to think about meeting an oncoming car, I sent my travel companion ahead when leaving to stop oncoming traffic until I was at the top.

Charming campsite hidden in the backyard of a private house. Excellent sanitary facilities although one shower for women and one for men is a bit cramped. Along the adjacent canal runs a path over which you can walk to the interesting Chester (50 min) or cycle (20 min). The path is poorly maintained.

Nicely maintained campsite with excellent sanitary facilities. That does have its price, we paid for a camper with 2 people incl. electricity just under £ 40 per night. Non-members of the Caravan Club pay an additional £ 15 per night but thanks to our ANWB CampingCard we did not have to pay this. We tried to book by phone but always got the answering machine. And if you arrive before 13:00 the reception is closed.

For €56 per night for a camper with 2 people with electricity you can expect a lot. Glasgow is easily accessible from this campsite by train and the grounds look excellently maintained. Then it is a bit of a turn-off to find a shower where you have to keep pressing a button and where you cannot regulate the temperature yourself. For me the set temperature was too high and barely bearable.

Exemplary camper place! We would have liked to have had clearer instructions on how to connect the power and how to access the sanitary facilities. For power, you first have to press a button next to the socket you are using and then scan the QR code you received. The code for the sanitary facilities is on the note that you have to place in front of the windshield.

Nice place, good WiFi. Only pay in cash, for camper and two people and electricity the rate is SEK 130 or €13. The owners are not always present, so exact change is useful.

Be careful when entering the access road to the campsite, which is perpendicular to the main road with a speed limit of 100 km. If you come from the east, you may come to a complete stop on the main road. But the campsite is indeed beautifully situated in greenery and next to a lake. Chemical toilets cannot be discharged at this campsite.

There are now some better facilities, 3 toilets, one of which is also suitable for the disabled and 5 showers, one of which is also accessible for the disabled. It was unclear to me to what extent they do separate waste collection here. When I asked at reception (combined with a small restaurant) where I could leave my empty bottles, the answer was just give it to me...

My experience is that this camper place no longer exists. the photo and the reviews refer to the other camper place in Växjö, Parking Storängsgatan

A sign (see photo) states that this is paid parking with a rate for zone 2. There is indeed no parking machine on site, but it is certainly not free! You can pay with a parking app such as Aimo.

I do not understand the criticisms regarding the sanitary facilities. the plumbing is very recent and I also rate it as clean, the latter is of course subjective.

beautiful pitches with privacy through hedges all around. we found the manager not really friendly. Payment can only be made in cash. We were told that we had to be gone by 10 am on the day of departure, we have never experienced this early!

There is an announcement that new sanitary facilities will be built in the autumn (2022), so that the complaints about this should disappear. With the free WiFi it is quite possible to watch TV via an app or to a streaming service.

I would like to see added to the general information that you can only pay cash here. By bike to Ponferrado with its beautiful castle is recommended, but not via the bicycle lane of the provincial road N 6 as advised by the caretaker. Using our navigation system we found a safer road running parallel to the N6

reviews are by definition subjective and they should be. But when I see that there are complaints about cramped places of 3.0 by 3.5 m, I have to say that this is not correct. You can stand there with a camper of 7 m long and then you can also completely extend your awning. Then you don't have a lot of space behind and to the side, but the dimensions of the pitches of 8 by 6 m are in any case closer to the truth!

We were here on June 18, 2018. Reception closed, phone number called. On the other hand, no one spoke English. The sanitary block is closed, in the basement of a large building are a few reasonable toilets and showers. There are only 2 power points, have not been able to discover facilities for discharging gray water or chemical toilet.

Beautiful camp site with excellent sanitary facilities, some little if it would be really busy. Wi-Fi is free and improved this year: best reception so far in Norway so the downside seems also to have been resolved.
