The restaurant has been closed for months. Now, December 30, 2025, it looks like a trailer park.

Why is that place registered if you are not allowed to stay overnight there?

On top of a mountain. Beautiful spot. For cyclists and hikers, there's also a less steep path down. Just ask. Visit the waterfall with a panoramic balcony in Chella. In the village, there's a Patateria El Gusto, a nice name for a cafeteria/restaurant run by Dutch people. For those who love fries, specialties, frikandel, cheese soufflé, schnitzel, etc. The terrace is busy, especially with Spaniards.

31-10-25: Yes, plenty of ideas, now just the execution. Reviews will be accurate in peak season with help from guests. Currently, no bar/terrace/food. Requested walking route: "download Wickylocs." Too much on his plate? Plenty of space now. If everything were full according to the numbers, I wouldn't want to be there. Neat sanitary facilities, great surroundings. Good campsite in the village as well.

November 6, 2025. We spent a day and night there while traveling. Much has already been said, and it's true. The landscape is fantastic for hikers, photographers, and mountain bikers. What views. Beautiful campsite. Too bad we didn't have more time. We were given almonds before leaving. They were busy picking olives. The drive to the campsite is easy. Turn right after the water treatment plant, follow the paved road along the fence, and you'll see the building. See photo.

October 8, 2025. Stayed for 2 nights. Much has been written. Indeed, don't pitch on the grass downstairs in really wet weather. Upstairs is fine. Beautiful place. A true hiker can easily find their way here. Beautiful surroundings. The village has a war cemetery, bakery, and restaurant. A cycle route to Verdun is just over the bridge between the Canal and the Meuse (Maas). This was our second time here. Beautiful place.

October 10, 2025. Campercontact says it's closed. It's open as usual. It's part of a CAMPER CAR PARK. Many people still don't realize that CCP only operates CAMPER CAR PARK sites (often former campsites). So, no showers or toilets. Electricity, water, and unloading are provided. Great campsite.

6-9-24, 2 nights. Yes, it has already been said. Sanitary facilities are neat. Campsite needs some maintenance. Owners are a bit older. It would be better if they would transfer the business to another operator ? We were satisfied.

5-9-24, 1 night. Much has been said. places on the Main. On the other side of the road opposite the "kasse" is also a lawn that belongs to it. 8 places with electricity. Beautiful cp, neatly maintained.

31 Aug 24, 3 nights. PLEASE NOTE. There is a CAMPING and a CP. The CP is on the other side of the lake and belongs to the campsite. Use the facilities of the campsite. At the CP itself, no facilities. Ate in the restaurant, fine. Beautiful place, nice for cycling and walking.

3-9-24, 2 nights. Contradictory reviews. Called the day before. is a CAMPING and not a CP. So different rules and Mittagsruhe. And considering the number of arrivals not so strange. Owners should also be able to eat quietly. Just read in advance and stick to the rules. Beautiful place, clean sanitary facilities. Nordlingen about 8 km to reach on foot or by bike. 30 Aug 24, 1 night. For us a great place. Reception less: Either indicate a place or place a sign where you need to be. Asked where you can walk, but does not say that 150 meters further there is a walking sign. Nice walk via a suspension bridge over the Wertach to Görisried where there is a restaurant/terrace and shop. The rest is written Paid €12 z electricity. Change was not possible.

2 negative reviews (Hufter??) have been there 4 times in 10 years. Just stick to the rules. Email or call in advance and don't just drive up and certainly not outside the set hours. Minimum 3 nights. These are their rules, stick to them and then nothing strange will happen. Other campsites in KWT also often use a minimum of 3 nights. Read in advance via the site, no trouble at all. Beautiful place, beautiful surroundings.

23 Aug 24, 3 nights. This is what we like. Simple. The basic necessities. Beautiful spot in the orchard. Only getting better. Campfire Eat with us and have a drink (if you want)! Possibly a long cable, they have various there. Nice cycling and walking. Until next time.

4/19/24: Read reviews. There are people who do not see the difference between the camper place and the campsite. Indeed there is more noise at the campsite, while at the C.P. is wonderfully quiet. Great place. But as is often the case, some people want a lot of amenities, but THEN GO to a campsite and pay a little more. (and whine less)

11-11-23 What a beautiful place. However, I don't really understand why a municipality builds such a beautiful place, because no one benefits from it. (except campers) You cannot spend a euro cent there, apart from the bread machine. Well done by the municipality. Circular walk of 1.8 km through the forest via the village back.

5/22/23. 3 nights stood next to the sheep. What a party. beautiful place and surroundings, for cycling and walking. Restaurant opposite the c.p. Very friendly owner.

4/10/2023. Stood for two nights. Fine. Yes a little traffic noise. For those who mind, there is no lighting at night. A good flashlight works wonders. Walk around the lake, Tour du Lac. Marked with yellow stripes and sometimes a sign, a bit hilly.

April 8, 23, Easter Weekend. Understandably 9 camper pitches occupied. A total of at least 30 "sleeping vehicles" with children, dogs and mottled paragliders, climbers and hikers. Excellent entertainment, good place. On Sunday from 9 am market in the village. Really good butcher. Is close to a new campsite with a new restaurant, which was busy. Much has already been written.

Much has already been written. Agree. Con: For a paid CP, I expect to be able to put a table and chair outside. That is not possible, places TOO NARROW. Should have been at least 1 meter wider. Parallel to the road is the Camino Natural Santander-Mediterraneo. Nice bike/walking path. When you arrive at the village immediately to the right and then near a stream is an information board. NB. There is no intermediate path between the road and the Camino. Start in village.

3/3/2023. An afternoon and night stood. Fine. Power not yet connected. no problem, probably a newer place. Many shops in the old part are closed, but everything is available in the adjacent newer part. Also quite a few terraces. Castle was closed, but a nice walk around it. We would certainly stay there again. CP was full. There were 5 other campers in the parking lot next to it. No problem.

Beautiful place. Stayed 5 nights instead of 2. As already described at 200 meters a landscaped beach and another 100 meters further a beautiful park on the river. Owner made a drawing for us with hiking trails. Beautiful walks with spotting of 23 vultures simultaneously, 2 wild boars and 5 deer in three walks. Very friendly manager couple. Eaten restaurant 2x, typical Spanish, both food and price, fine. Also very friendly.

Much has been said. For us 2 people, 1 dog, without electricity € 26.65 p.n. stayed for two nights. Everything fine and also friendly reception. The only downside: Emptying the toilet through the gray water grate, at the back of the site.

March 26/27, 2023. 1 night stay. Police came by twice. no unsafe feeling. There was another Portuguese tent tourist. Turn right Via Verte cycled towards Caleray y Choras. beautiful for about 6 km, then boring, BUT at the next station you can keep right over a dirt road. Is 3 km longer but more beautiful. Caleray y choras has a nice center square with a terrace. Village of overnight stay not visited so no judgement.

March 22/23 overnight. great place, peace and indeed small market. the necessary basic facilities in the village with some terraces. some nice buildings.

great place. Money is NOT collected, by the way, poorly indicated. pay municipality opposite church, main road. mercado in main street and 1 in side street near town hall. Tuesday morning small market. Old railway (via verte) cycling. Standing between railway line and old station, turning left is beautiful, turning right monotonous, boring. At c.p. straight up on intersection is a restaurant. Didn't eat though, so no judgement.

March 16, 2023. 4 nights. Much has been said. Fantastic place for us. With some insight, you can also walk from the campsite, including through a partly dry reservoir. In the village, tourist office was closed on Saturday, got a map with walking routes at the historical museum. Quite a lot of shops and restaurants in the village. Great view from the self-service terrace and bar, among others by goat farmer in the valley. Use binoculars.

March 13, 2023: 3 nights. Got a place that was too short due to a nice tree that was too low. Should choose another place. Motorhome is 7.30. Top. indeed a few places for really longer campers. Wifi is on c.p. much better than camping. Restaurant still excellent. Sanitary clean, washing machine and dryer available. Reception ladies very friendly and speak many languages. as expected in Ronda very busy.

March 13, 2023, 1 dog, no electricity € 21. pluses: nice terrace, friendly staff, cold water quickly fixed, pilot light off, village very friendly for cyclists, but negatives: dangerous road to get there, all "walking paths" are dead ends, 4 roosters of the neighbors are awake at 5 am, so are we, often dog barking, restaurant has 2 microwaves and a choice of approximately 8 pizza products. Shame

Mar 9, 2023. Great place, most places need blocks. Don't be put off by the old review of 11-25-2021. Now there are 2 places for gray water discharge and toilet discharge. 1 place is less suitable, but the place next to it there is a clear difference between tap water intake and flushing tap. Refurbished. In the center several churches, walk into the old narrow streets. Beautiful streets with geraniums and balconies, or to the tourist office.

Mar 8, 2023. Good place indeed. most of it has already been written. There were about 6 campers outside the indicated places. No problem, police drove over c.p. and left without action. A camper WITH TRAILER drove away again. The terrain is NOT suitable for such a combination.

Beautiful cp and great view, but indeed take a good run up to get to the top in bad weather. Speaking to older residents, they found the "ramp" mucho worthless. Local restaurant on main street was good. In the village there are also 2 small supermarkets and a panederia, which sells more than just bread. Nice area for a walker.

Been here on Mar 3, 2023. Just the winding road down into the canyon is already an experience. Don't worry, take it easy, it's doable. Good terraces, park, beautiful watercourses, good food. We were also requested by the local boa to stay within the section. This was no problem at the edge with overhang at the rear above grass/earth. With us about 14 others.

3/11/2023. We have been here on 2-3-2023. Hadn't read that NO DOGS are allowed. Is in reviews but not with NKC camping info. We were allowed to park in a closed parking lot in front of the campsite with all the facilities of the campsite. Everything looked neat.

we have had a card from Aire de CAMPING-Car for several years. One-off €5,-. Most places of that organization are good to very good. Water, electricity, unloading, loading, always behind the barrier. There are also many purchased former municipal campsites. VERY OCCASIONALLY there are still sanitary facilities, but that is not the purpose of Air Camping Car. We were here 18.2.2023. Great place to spend the night.

12 Nov 2022 arrival. The restaurant was closed due to holidays. stood for 3 nights. wonderful starting point for walks and bike rides. Wonderfully quiet nights. Many day trippers in the parking lot adjacent to Camperplaats. No nuisance. We have registered with the familiar ON/OFF system. Substrate c.p. not entirely even, no problem for us.

late review. been there 8/30/2021. excellent campsite with outdoor pool and "indoor" pool, bath with sliding dome. Everything neat sanitary etc. Eaten in camping restaurant, delicious but too much. Opposite the Lidl (5 min by bike) great ice cream shop. There is also a bicycle rental and REPAIR company in that area. surface pitch is sand, sometimes a bit green. Vallon pont d'arc by bike 8 minutes, walkable.

April 11-18 22. we wanted to stay 2 nights, turned into a week. Environment to explore on your own. Bar-restaurant, daily menu village is very popular, open until 4.30 pm and from 8 pm. with electr. folding bikes visited the villages of La Almonda, Castejon de Monegros and Bujaraloz (supermarket) on unpaved roads. April 23 22. Within 150 meters 4 water taps, of which 1 with a long clean garden hose, gray water discharge point and 2 toilet discharge points. Given its location on the river, a great campsite in the summer for children with plenty of water fun. Clean campsite. Visited 2 x restaurant on camping site. Delicious and well cared for. In the village itself cozy restaurant with a large terrace that is invisible from the village, Casa Angela. Not eaten.

28-9-2021. Camper Car Park, entrance ticket required, €5 once, valid for life. Approximately €13 per 24 hours. All in, power wifi sanitary large places and secured. Rolling countryside, cycling/walking to Armecy, Montmort, Sainte Radegonde. For us, the indicated walking routes (start behind the church) were impossible to follow without a map Tourist Office. Beautiful cp and surroundings. Road to cp in the center, can be busy / narrow, sometimes a lot of trucks.

26.9.2021. Beautiful place. Payment via QR code, credit card did not work for us, so we did not pay, sorry. Water intake, toilet discharge and gray is freely accessible to everyone. Close to restaurant (swimming pool). Tip. restaurant in neighboring St. Michel d'aurance, great view and great food.

24.9.2021. Been there with a gray camper hxwxl 293x230x738, beautiful. plumbing was open, worked but not used, private bathroom. Several doors jammed. walk via QR code or on paper €1,- each at la Post next to Marie. for a little walker, great place. We like such roads. Rest of the reviews are correct. We were also alone for a few days.

Sept 23, 2021. A dusty affair for us. Because it's free, it was obviously busy. Perhaps a great place for city lovers, we drove on and looked for a nature spot.

Read: no hose connection for water. Water points EVERYWHERE, connect your own hose. Walk to Dieulefit via the back of the campsite and return on the other side of the main road. Dieulefit is a nice village, with many galleries and artists. In le Poët Laval an alley is named after writer Gerard Reve. He once bought a property there, renovated it and lived/worked. The old Poet Laval on top of the hill is very beautiful. Cp/camping fine.

the c.p. is neatly furnished. However, it is located on the other side of the Rhone. Walking to La Voulte is no fun, 20 cm sidewalk and very narrow bridge, where traffic often stops to avoid oncoming traffic and pedestrians/cyclists. Several terraces and restaurants. Cp is located along the busy D86. Never heard so much noise on a CP during the day. because you are between Rhone and tributaries, cycling is limited, often the same way back.

25/26/27-8-2021. stood here. rarely seen a bathroom without spiders (rag), but here we did. everything clean and fresh. that you have to go elsewhere for your shopping is quite normal. ice cream and red, white and rose wine are sold. playful arrangement of places. sunbathing area available. great place and hostess. place to come back.

5/23/2020. 2 nights in the new place. Super. They are now busy making toilets and showers, as well as a communal space. The "old" dairy barn will also become storage space for campers.

3/3/2020. What has been mentioned earlier is correct. Note. To get to the beach, you have to overcome 1 mtr, by calving the coast. walking on the beach is very difficult, even for a dog. The many dogs are walked on the small part between the campsite and the beach. Via front left, right, left etc Beniscola is easy to reach on foot and bicycle, beautiful place.

9 Mar 2020. We stood 7 nights, paid 6, so € 16. SO OPEN AGAIN. Restaurant is currently being built completely new. No bother. With a free hiking map I walked wonderfully inland. In the village itself Miami Platja enough restaurants / cafeterias / supermarket open even on Sundays. Sometimes strong gusts of wind seems to be normal for the whole environment in combination with time of the year.

4-3-2020: place not unkind, beautiful area for walking. water free toilet discharge and gray water discharge .. no waste container seen.

On the way to Spain overnight, 24 / 25-2-2020. Great place for us. Nice area for jogging and cycling / walking. friendly owner. Occasionally this becomes a permanent place to stay for us. The rest has been said.

30-4-2019. Been here 1 night, nice place. a pity that nothing has been done with the comment in revieuw of 25-6-2017. Emptying the toilet cassette inside the toilet is not ideal. An outdoor connection to the sewer can be made easily and cheaply. Now the floor in the toilet is wet, because there is also the flush water tap. Too bad, we don't need a toilet, but emptying a cassette usually has to be done by everyone.
