Well-organized, Municipality. The Netherlands (and especially Recron) could learn a thing or two from this. In the Netherlands, it's all about €€€€.
Sitecode: 108244
Camper place is not available until September 22
Sitecode: 49863
Unfortunately, you're required to give at least one star to be able to leave a review. It's a beautiful location, but unfortunately, the municipality is exploiting it commercially, by taking a serious swipe at campers' wallets at this ordinary parking spot. Shame on the municipality. Just look at the rates in Belgium.
Sitecode: 49141
Sorry, €31.50. That's not even enough to rent an entire house.
Sitecode: 1374
Just
Sitecode: 26670
What more could you want as a self-drive camper? Just a spot where you can park without any hassle. No unnecessary lines, barriers, parking apps, reservations, no-parking signs, etc. Thanks, Municipality. In France, self-drive campers have the same parking permits as in the Netherlands.
Sitecode: 12234
Situated high among the greenery. Very quiet. Just a trash can. That's all a free camper needs. Thanks to the municipality for considering free campers, unlike the Netherlands, where free spaces are not considered. In the Netherlands, it's all about €€€.
Sitecode: 12227
A lovely spot between the houses. No shelter from too much sun. Such spots are unfortunately rare in the Netherlands anymore. This is due to the APV regulations, which are largely influenced by the Recron (Regulation of Local Authorities).
Sitecode: 18768
This can all happen just across the border. There's no financial exploitation here like in the Netherlands. Here in Belgium, they don't have to deal with Recron, which has a significant say in camper policy in the Netherlands. No stupid APV regulations here. Thanks Belgium.
Sitecode: 53765
What a wonderfully peaceful place right on the lake. Here in France, campers truly feel free, unlike in the Netherlands, where you have to navigate between the lines, pass through barriers, make reservations, use payment apps, navigate prohibition signs, pay machines, and deal with other pointless rules.
Sitecode: 103165
Another quiet, relaxed town with panoramic views. Here in France, you feel free as a camper without being financially exploited, having to stand between the lines, having to deal with barriers, payment apps, no-entry signs, reservations, and all that same nonsense like in the Netherlands.
Sitecode: 57170
Just across the border and you feel welcome as a camper here in Belgium. Here no barriers, apps, mandatory areas clarified with paint stripes, prohibition signs and other nonsense rules like in the Netherlands. In the Netherlands we have the Recron who largely determine the camper policy and they prefer to see campers on the commercial campsite.
Sitecode: 70834
Here a few kilometers over the border you feel free as a camper. No paint lines, barriers, APV and all those nonsense rules that are used in the Netherlands which are largely determined partly by the Recron who prefers to see the camper on commercial campsites than on free places. A big thumbs up for the Municipality of Nettetal.
Sitecode: 9990
Just a place where you can stand as a camper. In contrast to the Netherlands where they would rather send you to the commercial campsites. Thanks Belgium for your hospitality.
Sitecode: 6606
Unfortunately I have to give at least 1 star. The Municipality of Terneuzen makes it unattractive for campers to visit this Municipality.
Sitecode: 9565
How do you make sure that your municipality is avoided by campers? Answer; By only letting campers pay parking fees for the night and exempting all other vehicles, like here in Bergen op Zoom.
Sitecode: 5421
What a muddy mess and urine smell there is at this camper site.
Sitecode: 101526
Totally agree with the previous review.
Sitecode: 72035
Thanks Belgium for this nice spot on the Scheldt. The Netherlands can learn something from this. In the Netherlands, campers are usually seen as a source of income, especially by the campsite owners, which is why the free camper sites in the Netherlands are increasingly disappearing. This policy is partly determined by Recron. And yes, Recron is there for the recreation entrepreneurs in the Netherlands and not exactly for the free campers.
Sitecode: 14196
A camper doesn't need more. Just a place to stand/spend the night. No hassle of signs and APV rules like in the Netherlands, where camper policy is largely determined by Recron. Thanks Belgium, where a camper still feels free with his camper. Ps. you are not standing in the mud here but on a terrain paved with crushed stone.
Sitecode: 11403
another good place here in Belgium. Here in Belgium Recron should come and see how the camper policy is here.
Sitecode: 85806
The Netherlands can take an example here. A camper site where you are not financially exploited as in most places in the Netherlands. In the Netherlands, the policy around the camper site is largely determined by Recron, which also determines the policy for the campsite owners and yes, they are not happy with camper sites. They lose turnover with that. Thank you, Municipality of Waregem, for this perfect place.
Sitecode: 6693
Unfortunately I have to tick a star, but it should be a big “0”. Shame on the Municipality of Huizen for asking for money for this. Drove quickly.
Sitecode: 102164
What a luxury for a Dutchman. The Recron should come and take a look at this. This is quite different from the policy as they are rolling it out in the Netherlands.
Sitecode: 9565
You are no longer welcome here with your camper. to stay the night. You have to pay to stay overnight. During the day you are free here. This arrangement only applies to campers. The night payment does not apply to all other vehicles. The Municipality of Bergen op Zoom prefers to see you at commercial campsites. This policy resembles bullying campers. Thank you Recron.
Sitecode: 67199
This place remains 5 stars. Fortunately, the Recron does not determine the free camper life here as is the case in the Netherlands. Where the municipal APV is strongly influenced by this authority. Here there are no barriers, lines, payment terminals and other nonsensical nonsense to discourage campers from enjoying the beautiful Netherlands. In the Netherlands you are pushed to the commercialized campsites. Thank you Belgium.
Sitecode: 107718
The CP Bolwerk is available but we ignored it. Parking costs €3.05 per hour.
Sitecode: 9841
Why is it possible here? Just a place where you can spend the night without being commercially exploited. That's all a camper needs. But unfortunately Recron is in charge here in the Netherlands and that is precisely the organization that wants campers to go to commercially driven campsites. And most municipalities are guided by that.
Sitecode: 98581
Price/quality appropriate. Very neat. Don't change anything.
Sitecode: 98044
A place without any hassle or obstacles due to APV signs or other nonsensical nonsense from, among others. Recron who only facilitate the campsite owners.
Sitecode: 6739
That's all a camper needs. Just a parking space without obstacles where you can spend the night.
Sitecode: 92531
This is a camper place as it should be. Just a quiet spot, without barriers, on/off app, payment terminal, parking spaces, etc. Here is a mailbox in which you put the payment. Here you will not be financially exploited, as in most camper places throughout the Netherlands. Just a fair price. That's why 5 big stars from me.
Sitecode: 6604
Bad location and a lot of hassle with the on/off app.
Sitecode: 100783
Great place to visit Maastricht from here.
Sitecode: 92532
What a relaxed place on the grounds of the Municipality. All amenities available. Here there are no barriers, payment terminals, on/off app, mandatory signs or other nonsensical rules like in the Netherlands. Here in Belgium, the camper is still welcome, unlike in the Netherlands, where the Recron, among other things, is making it increasingly unattractive for the free camper.
Sitecode: 51192
What a nice place here. No APV rules here that curtail the free life of a camper. In Belgium you are still welcome as a camper, unlike in the Netherlands, where your freedom is largely determined by the influence of the Recron on the municipal authorities. They like to see the camper at the campsite as a financial gain for the campsite operators.
Sitecode: 70193
Nice place, but strange way to only charge campers for the night and not all other cars. This certainly comes from the camper operators, who are missing some turnover. Too bad Municipality of Bergen op Zoom.
Sitecode: 104626
What a strange action by the Municipality of Bergen op Zoom to be manipulated by the campsite operators by making camper owners pay for the night and exempting all other cars from this.
Sitecode: 9565
Only pay for the overnight stay, and then only for the campers. What a strange arrangement. This certainly comes from the campsite operators' minds.
Sitecode: 101526
Nice place, but unfortunately not for the camper with an AOW. That's why 1 star for us. We prefer to cross the border to Belgium where you are not so exploited.
Sitecode: 18915
If the reserved camper spaces are full, you can simply park in the other available parking spaces in France. Here in France they don't have nonsensical APV rules like in the Netherlands. In France you still feel welcome as a camper, unlike in the Netherlands where you are not welcome. In the Netherlands you are welcome at commercial campsites and camper site operators. Pity.
Sitecode: 68001
Thank you Municipality of Avion for such a fantastic spot next to the beautiful park. Here in France, the camper still feels wanted, unlike in the Netherlands. Here, campers are increasingly being chased away to commercial operators.
Sitecode: 76475
Just a place to park your camper. A bit busy due to traffic, but what do you want in the middle of the center? The municipalities in the Netherlands can follow this example.
Sitecode: 104194
What a relaxing spot. No prohibition signs, barriers, APV rules and other nonsensical regulations here. Unfortunately, this is not possible in the Netherlands. In the Netherlands, the freedom of camper life is determined by the campsite operators and they naturally prefer to see the campers on their own grounds.
Sitecode: 54837
Great place, without the hassle of rules like in the Netherlands. Drinking water is no longer free and the electricity has been turned off. But no problem, we are self-sufficient.
Sitecode: 14245
What a decline for this camper place. What used to be a casual place is now increasingly becoming a camper place as you increasingly see in the Netherlands. Is increasingly commercially exploited. From 5 to 10 euros!!!! Mandatory creation of an app. to be able to pay, a pity for the campers who do not have a smartphone, very unfriendly.
Sitecode: 41369
Too expensive for us for such a small place. I don't pay that amount in house rent yet. If we cross the border to Belgium, there is plenty of room here and you still feel free. Here you can simply stand anywhere for free (provided it is not prohibited). Here they are still camper-friendly, unlike in the Netherlands where you are increasingly exploited. And if you really have to go to Maastricht, you take the bike or the bus.
Sitecode: 102680
Just find out where exactly you have to enter the parking lot. That turns out to be just because of the barriers. A note, maybe a sign at the barrier that this is the entrance to parking. Furthermore, only a lot of praise that this can all be done casually in Belgium. NKC Netherlands may promote such places in the Netherlands more at the various municipalities and the APV rules focus on the camper and not be influenced by the camping exploiters
Sitecode: 18768
Just a quiet free casual place where you can park your camper. Without rules, on/off app. , barriers, payment terminals, parking zones (only for campers) and other posturing.
Sitecode: 101836
Here in Belgium no signs and rules like in the Netherlands. If there is no prohibition sign that campers are allowed to park, you can simply spend the night here with the camper. No messing around with APV regulations like in the Netherlands. NKC, do something about it in the Netherlands.
Sitecode: 103569
With your camper 5 meters from the canal. Without rules and prohibition signs. There are no APV rules as used by the municipalities in the Netherlands. These APV rules are often directed by the organizations behind the campsite owners. Kudos to the Belgian Municipalities that are not influenced by these types of organizations.
Sitecode: 70305
Hey, what a rest here in Belgium. No hassle with APV rules from municipalities such as in the Netherlands, which rules are put forward by organizations that are for the campsite owners and try to make it as unfriendly as possible for the free camper. That is why you see all free camper spots disappearing more and more in the Netherlands. Kudos to the Municipalities in Belgium that are not influenced by this kind of organization.
Sitecode: 15196
Another nice place. With 5 reserved places for campers. If these are occupied, there is plenty of room. Here in Belgium they do not have those strange APV rules as they apply in the Netherlands. There, the policy is largely determined by the organizations that are for the campsite owners and yes, they are not there for the free campers.
Sitecode: 99563
Nice quiet place, 100 meters from the canal. With a towing ferry you can possibly. to the other side of the water. Great cycling in this area. A big thumbs up to the Municipality here. Here, the free campers are still thought of, in contrast to the Netherlands, where campers are usually seen as undesirable.
Sitecode: 57170
Another casual place. A quiet spot on a recreational site. A garbage can available. A free camper does not need more. If you want luxury facilities, then the campsites are for that. A nice big compliment to the Gemeente.hier. It is a pity that you hardly encounter this in the Netherlands anymore.
Sitecode: 6623
This is what a camper is looking for. A casual place to stand. If the reserved places for the campers are occupied, you can simply park the camper in the other free parking spaces to spend the night. This is not allowed in the Netherlands (APV), making the Netherlands unattractive for campers who wish to enjoy freedom and do not want to be bound by unnecessary rules. A 10 for Belgium.
Sitecode: 92501
This is not possible in the Netherlands. Here's a casual spot on grass. Without strange rules and conditions that make it increasingly unattractive to feel your freedom in a camper in the Netherlands. Kudos to this welcoming venue.
Sitecode: 95460
Well arranged that way. Just a place to rest. No lines where you have to stand exactly between, no prohibition signs, barriers, parking meters, parking apps and other unnecessary arrangements to make it as difficult as possible for the camper as you see more and more in the Netherlands. Kudos to this Municipality of Malle.
Sitecode: 105516
Just a quiet place where you can park your camper without being commercially exploited, as you see happening more and more throughout the Netherlands. Thank you Municipality of Hoogstraten.
Sitecode: 55210
Great spot. Unfortunately, most municipalities in the Netherlands cannot also realize these kinds of places. It is a pity that the campers are being chased from the Netherlands.
Sitecode: 67199
Great place, most municipalities in the Netherlands can take an example from that. Here in Belgium, campers are at least still welcome.
Sitecode: 62928
This is what a camper is looking for. Just a parking space where you can stand quietly. Without a cat pass. Thank you Municipality of Weert.
Sitecode: 12634
This is not a camper place as we are looking for it. A large parking lot with a reserved corner with narrow parking spaces for campers for €12.50/24 hours.
Sitecode: 70193
Beautiful camper place. Unfortunately, it seems that a political game has been played with a hint of camping operators behind this policy. Very strange that after 6 p.m. you have to pay for your parking space via payment zone P 4699. This only applies to campers and NOT to all other vehicles? Very camper unfriendly Municipality of Bergen op Zoom.
Sitecode: 9565

Get out was the advice of the enforcers. This is to avoid a fine. The neighbor had complained. So NOT outside the indicated yellow line. Unfortunately, a maximum of 6 campers are possible on this large parking lot. So then to Bergen op Zoom, where you can park for free during the day, but you can pay € 10.39 after 6 p.m. via Aesypark ????
Sitecode: 104626

Wow, what a fantastic beautiful place. Unfortunately 5 stars is the maximum. This is one of the jewels of the camper pitches. 360 degree view of the high mountain ridges. And you can park here just like that, without the hassle of hassle with signs, barriers and other posturing. And the cost is € 0 euros.
Sitecode: 70193
Once again this camper place has also been removed from my favorite list. You can only spend the night here if you have an Easy park account. What a hassle all, more and more rules for campers. Who came up with something like that at the Municipality of Bergen op Zoom? It's a pity .
Sitecode: 9565
Once again this motorhome has also disappeared from my favorite list. You can only spend the night here if you have an Easypark account. What a hassle all, more and more rules for campers.
Sitecode: 49141
What a hassle with that reservation. This is not the way a camper wants to enjoy his freedom. Freedom with a camper means, among other things, that you do not book your trip v.t.v. explicitly set. It is a great pity that the pitches are increasingly being exploited commercially by motorhome owners and municipalities for financial reasons. to get as much out of it as possible. Too bad about this beautiful place and also too expensive for a camper
Sitecode: 101526
What a camper needs is a simple place to stand. A water tap and a dump site is nice. All other matters such as: WiFi, toilet block, shower, access system, power supply, neat asphalt spots, access route and lawn facilities only increase the price. If you find those extra facilities necessary, then the campsites are intended for that.
Sitecode: 49863
This is not what a camper is looking for. A commercially exploited place by the Municipality of Maassluis. An app. , noise. and a dirty drain. Just ignore this location. Am I also obliged to give a star otherwise I can not post this review.
Sitecode: 9565
Thank you Municipality of Bergen op Zoom for this not yet commercialized motorhome. Here the motor home still has a free feeling without the hassle with the AanUit app, parking meters and others annoying rules that the "free" motor home has nothing to do with. Just a place to stand. The facilities offered, which is usually the argument to capitalize on the commercialized motorhome pitches, most motor home owners have on board.
Sitecode: 18768
another casual motorhome here in Belgium without an AanUit app, barriers, parking meters, rules, etc. where we see this more and more in the Netherlands. A big 10 for these kinds of places and a compliment to the Municipality. In the Netherlands you see that the motorhome pitches are increasingly exploited commercially by owners and municipalities. There you can forget the freedom that you should have with a camper.
Sitecode: 94862
This is looking for a camper. Freedom with his motorhome, without the hassle of the AanUit app, barriers, parking machines and other rules. Just a quiet, clean place where you can stand without being commercially exploited by owners or Municipalities. A big 10 for this beautiful spot and a compliment to this Municipality.
Sitecode: 81121
What a nice neat casual motorhome without a barrier, payment terminal or the inconvenience of the AanUit app. Here you only pay for what you actually purchase. Just freedom as a motor home wishes. A big 10 for the Municipality here. Most municipalities in the Netherlands can take an example from this.
Sitecode: 62217
Wow a nice place. The concrete blocks are now placed in such a way that you can drive up the large open field to the edge of the mountain where you can enjoy a fantastic view. You don't need anything else here. Here you have freedom with your motorhome. Thank you Belgium, that motorhomes are still welcome here and such places are available.
Sitecode: 98495
Just worthy of 5 stars. This is looking for a motor home who is looking for freedom with his motorhome, without being tied to rules and commercial gain from owners or municipalities such as the AanUit app, barriers and paved areas. A big 10 for the Municipality of Landen.
Sitecode: 92794
Thank you Municipality of Turnhout. This needs a camper. A demarcated part of a large parking area for motorhomes. This gives a motorhome owner the feeling of freedom, without being exploited commercially and meeting more and more rules, including reservations, AanUit,net, barriers, etc. as you see happening more and more in the Netherlands.
Sitecode: 9841
What a nice casual place for a motor home, without being exploited financially. The motto of freedom with a camper really applies here, which you can't say about most places in the Netherlands.
Sitecode: 47495
Nice Municipality of Zaltbommel for making a spot available for motor home owners. This is in contrast to many municipalities where motor home owners are seen as cash cows and are exploited commercially.
Sitecode: 64926
This should not be called a motorhome. It is a parking lot where as much as possible the motor home is squeezed out by the Municipality as a cash cow. From now on, every motor home must drive past this quickly. Unfortunately, one star is still way too many. Please get out of the app quickly. to fetch.
Sitecode: 53248
Praise for the Church. This is what a motor home is looking for, just a simple, quiet and clean place to stand, freedom, without being commercially exploited and extra costs (with the reason) for the presence of toilets and showers, among other things.
Sitecode: 229
Well organized by the Municipality of Gouda. Passenger cars and motorhome both pay parking fees. So no distinction. In many places you see that motorhomes have to pay and passenger cars do not.
Sitecode: 14315
For a motorhome at a farmer, this is a neat clean place. Unfortunately, 15 euros for such a place is very expensive. Since the free places in the Netherlands are increasingly commercialized, you are forced to visit here regularly to take in and discharge water. Nevertheless, motorhomes are sold under the motto of freedom. This freedom does apply to people with a supplementary pension.
Sitecode: 22348
Thank you Municipality of Hoogerheide for the free camper place. A motor home does not need more. A place to spend the night without being commercially exploited, as you now see happening throughout the Netherlands. You have freedom with a camper, is mentioned as a sales argument for a camper, unfortunately you can forget that here in the Netherlands. You will have to cross the border anyway.
Sitecode: 15784
It is a large bare plain that is set up once a week as a large market. It is a pity that the costs for electricity are included in the pitch price as standard. Campers are usually self-sufficient. It would be better that you can make the choice for your electricity yourself..
Sitecode: 6607
This was a nice motorhome. Unfortunately, work has started to turn the motorhome into a commercial location that should raise money. Too bad, as examples you see that throughout the country, including Maassluis, where the motor home owners ignore them as long as possible. Unfortunate.
Sitecode: 14311
Beautiful location. Good value for money. Everything a motorhome needs for an appropriate price.
Sitecode: 18363
Quiet spot on the water next to the boats and willow trees on the shore. Today one less tree because the beaver has stopped by.
Sitecode: 98581
A motor home doesn't need more. A neat pitch, water, discharge option, charging point for bicycles and silence. That is all present at this location next to the sheep. That way there should be many more places.
Sitecode: 94928
This is how a motorhome should be. No unnecessary rules, clean and casual and above all a fair price. The latter especially in contrast to the price increase of many motorhome pitches that are only set up for profit.
Sitecode: 30096
Unfortunately we have to ignore this beautiful place. Too expensive.
Sitecode: 70193
This is what a motor home owner needs. Just a nice place to stand, without unnecessary commercial exploitation.
Sitecode: 77423
Nice location, but is exploited very commercially. Now with less nice weather 22 euros but as soon as the sun starts shining again it will be 32 euros again. Too bad this seems like a location set up for financial gain.
Sitecode: 49863
Too expensive for an average motor home owner.
Sitecode: 50897
Great spot
