We had a fantastic time at Olive Tree. We went for two days and ended up staying for over eight weeks. It's a truly wonderful place to "winter." All the facilities are present, and the bathrooms are spotless and very warm. Fantastic value for money. Dirck and Kathy are wonderful hosts, and the other staff are very helpful. There are many shops and restaurants nearby, and cycling is easy. In short, highly recommended.

We were here in January. A great location for cycling to Lecce. Beautiful green spaces between factories and workshops. Sanitary facilities were very basic, and the water wasn't hot. Because there wasn't much sun for the panels, we really needed the electricity for heating. Beware: you have to pay a hefty extra charge per kWh! We spent €10 per day on electricity on top of the €20 price.

Perhaps this owner is two-faced, and we've seen his most unfriendly face. Within five minutes, we'd seen enough. From his railing, he shouted at us that the dog wasn't allowed on the grass... he didn't even introduce himself. We immediately turned around.

The place itself is really not bad. Clean and nicely laid out at a beautiful new park. It is indeed difficult that there is no water. 150/200 meters further, in the park, there is a place where you can get water.

Great fine CP...and that for free. Now at the end of December every evening full. The restaurant is also definitely recommended. We arrived on a busy Saturday in December and got a nice table without a reservation. The dog was also allowed to come along. We had ordered a fish dish that was not to our taste and were immediately given something else. What a service.

We agree with the previous reviews. A great place to stay and a very good and cheap wok restaurant. We had a great meal and slept here.

What a great place this is. Only compliments for Raoul and Jolanda who can now offer 11 places with electricity. We came here by chance for 1 night and stayed 8 nights. We will definitely come back here.

We have been here 5 nights. Great location between Palamos and Platje del Aro. Everything was open. We were close to the reception. Fine sanitary facilities even now heated. Night surveillance. There is a nuisance from work. Trucks and tractor with construction equipment. There is a lot of renovation going on. We paid 23 euros pn. Gray and clean water spot just outside the campsite is very poorly maintained and filthy. That is a pity again.

What a nice place.. and what a surprise that there are 3 bathrooms with toilet sink and wonderfully hot shower.. and all for 7.00 without electricity and 12.00 with electricity. There is also a dog washing area and a kiosk with information. .Tribute to the municipality of Barcares.

Perfect for an (almost) city campsite. Excellent reception and good facilities. Sanitary is dated but wonderfully heated and everything works. Great place for the overnight stay. Quiet and nice town within walking distance. Places are fine at the moment, but a little less maintained. Stand a number of yellow old, dilapidated campers and after emptying the toilet you can not rinse. we paid 8 euros.

Last weekend night here and what a great service! The beautifully situated campsite itself is still closed, but a very friendly young man who was doing odd jobs has helped us very well at the camp when we still had too little water unexpectedly in the camper. We were allowed to get water on the property and have paid otherwise 10 euros for a more than fine place.

We were here on March 27, 2016. Beautiful bedsore. Do not spend the night here. was only a toilet and an open dump for the cassette toilet. Heavy traffic, including by cars going to the fish restaurant.

On 24 and 25 March we were here and the service was still in full swing. The site is located perfectly in the green and within cycling distance of Groningen. Staff is very nice. The sanitary block at the back could not be used even on the first day and the spots were very soggy. No problem on departure. The nice maintenance man drew us no problem with the trigger of the place. We found the price (24 euros) or high.
