We went here because of the rave reviews about the view. Personally, we were a bit disappointed. Of course, everyone's different, but for a comparison, take a look at site code: 159533 (Provisional parking garage for superbars) That makes our hearts beat faster. We only stayed overnight.

Beautiful view. It was still a busy campervan site. We cycled to the suspension bridge. That was quite a challenge because there were a few steep climbs (luckily we have electric bikes). The road there is gravel with coarse stones. There's a short stretch of regular road. All in all, quite manageable. We give it 4 stars because of the view. We have our own facilities on board and didn't use them here.

Beautiful view, free water and dumping facilities. A very pretty old village. It's a short, steep climb to get there (20 minutes), but definitely worth it. We weren't bothered by young people. Thanks to the municipality; it's so nice that they offer this. We were parked at the back of the parking lot, which isn't officially a campervan site, but the municipality allows it. From here, you have a beautiful view of the water and the mountains.

The shower and toilet are very substandard. They aren't cleaned daily, especially during peak season. We stayed on the gravel pitches. The pitches with a view of the water, however, are beautiful. We cycled to Marken and then took the ferry to Volendam. It's very touristy and busy. The road from Volendam to the campsite is a nice bike ride; you'll come across a beautiful windmill.

Nice camper place, we were lucky to be at a piece of grass. First with the train down to look. To get to the cliffs you have to walk quite a long way. We went back to the camper to get our electric. Down goes very fast. Up again is quite tough, but our bikes have good support! My husband wanted to fly the drone but the seagulls did not think this was a good idea and attacked the drone.

For only €7.50 a great place to stand. View of the Seine. You can discharge your waste water and your toilet. If you want clean water, get a token at the town hall. You do need blocks to stand upright. You can cycle along the Seine but it is a very bumpy road. You can get to the bridge to cross to the other side.

Only used to drain and refresh everything. All fine!

Nice big places for the camper. Swimming pool nice to cool off. Friendly reception. Everything has already been said. Birds whistle wonderfully.

Nice to walk the lake, but you don't really have a view of the mountains. You can just put out your awning and that's it. To tap water you first have to enter your code again. Do that quickly or you won't succeed.

We were here last year, it remains wonderfully beautiful here! Now there is a small restaurant (la cuisine de mamè) which is open on thu/fri/sat/sun. 12:00-16:00 and from 19:00-22:00. Didn't eat here so I can't say anything about that.

Beautiful parking lot and very quiet in June. You really need blocks! The road to it is quite narrow in some places. We have a large camper (7.40) and if you meet another large camper, 1 will have to drive back where it is a bit widened. It is just doable for large campers. We did not stay because there were so many flies/insects. It is a dead end road that goes to a (dam?) lake.

Beautiful view of this parking lot. No facilities, quiet now in June. You do need blocks to be able to stand up straight. Beautiful ride through the mountains. You are here at 2400 altitude and it cools down nicely in the evening.

Beautiful view. We were at the top (no. 10). The main road is audible. Very steep down but that's where you have the most beautiful spots. Our large camper (7.41) could just about handle the way back. There is a steep hole where many campers have hit the ground. So drive away at walking pace. If you want to swim and stand at the top you have to be good on your feet. Every time a climb up:-)

Nice free camper place. It is very much appreciated that you put a voluntary contribution in the mailbox. If everyone would do this, these beautiful places would continue to exist. We are there now and there are 4 other campers.

Friendly owner, lovely place to stay. Lots of cycling and walking opportunities. We are here now at Easter and it is still wonderfully quiet. Lots of bird song, lovely to relax. We are self-sufficient so a great place and not even that expensive. Electricity paid separately but we don't need that either.

Beautiful shower and toilet. Lovely cycling to Franeker and Harlingen. Use blocks at the camper place to stand up straight. Friendly managers, there are all kinds of brochures to discover the area.

Great for emptying your waste water and your toilet cassettes. Refilling your water with the watering can takes a bit of time.

Fantastic view! In the evening some more campers came here. In total about 13 space enough and there is room for many more. As the evening falls it cools down quickly. But what a great place to stay! No facilities but we have everything in the camper!

The place and view is beautiful. It's a shame that the terrace has constant music on from 2:00 PM to about 9:00 PM. With this beautiful weather, many people, including many young people, bring their own music box. This did not bother us because the music from the terrace predominates. You really don't have to come here for the quiet. I think this will be different outside the high season.

Beautiful parking spot. We were now alone here. As everyone says, beautiful view! You can only leave your rubbish in the container. A great place for us to stand. Cycling is also very nice here. (us with the electric bicycle)

Everything looks neat at the campsite. Toilet and shower fine. We were kindly received and given the largest spot. The lady already said that the campsite was partially closed due to the renovation. And that the larger campers were actually normally on there. We had already completed a ride and didn't really want to continue. With some turning work we got the camper (7.5) on site.

Ended up here because everything around was full. Toilet and showers in demolition condition. Campsite does not look well cared for. Indeed the old lady is very friendly. €5 per person, camper €7.50, gray water emptying €3, electricity €5. Choose a place yourself but we will not come back here. With some attention to the campsite and maintenance you can really make something of it.

What a beautiful place to stand. We were facing the river. We were lucky because it is already quite busy. The road to it is easy to do with a large camper (7.5 meters is ours. ) Drive slowly and enjoy the surroundings. Tomorrow we will go up by train if the weather is good. It cooled down quite quickly when the sun was behind the mountains, but we could still sit outside with a jacket on. great place!

Everything is there, but we think 4 * is really too much. We were kindly received and the gentleman apologized for his lack of English. It was enough because we understood each other. Our camper (7.5 meters) just fit in the place. Everything looked well taken care of but for us no camping to come back to. Everything is pretty close together. We used it to stay overnight as we were tired to look elsewhere.

New owners, we were received very friendly. Shower and toilet fine (a bit fresh because it is not heated) but everything looks neat. Nice view over the meadows. The motorhome is fine with gravel and a piece of grass to sit on. You can easily reach the beautiful town of Franeker on your bike. Occasionally you hear the road but we did not find that disturbing. We wish the new owners a lot of fun and success here!

On the pitches you have a part of paving stones. Handy because that way everything stays tidy in the camper :-) Sanitary is fine. We used the sauna for 2 hours. Upon entering the candles, pot of tea with chocolate and a jug of water are burning. Two chairs to relax on and bathrobes and towels at your disposal. Relax and cool off outside.

Quietly located campsite. We stood on the open field with a view of the mountains. We had our camper (7.41) standing in the longitudinal direction. That didn't fit. Spacious showers and low toilets but everything neat and clean. Swimming pool was still open and is heated by the sun. Friendly atmosphere and when you arrive and there is no one at the reception you can pick a spot yourself. Now with Acsi we only paid €16 per day (2 persons and incl. everything)

Kindly received by two young ladies and we were allowed to pick a spot ourselves. There are several places some with some view of the lake, but also places that don't. Some pitches are slanted and others are not. There is also a difference in the size of the places. Because it is now in the late season it is wonderfully quiet. As a result, they only had 1 sanitary building open. Sanitary for a 5 * campsite below par.

Friendly welcome, but we were disappointed. Very small places, camping did not look cared for. They advertise a great view. Then they can really do some pruning. The camping places don't have the panoramic view they promise and that's what we came for. Some houses have this again. We will not come back here.

We have been on the lawn next to the motorhome because we did not need electricity. Here you have a great view of the castle. You have to hold the showers with a push button otherwise it stops every time. A little awkward showering but otherwise it was fine to do. The toilet was also good, it just depends on how your predecessor leaves it. Nice to visit the castle from the motorhome and to go up with the chairlift.

Farm campsite, quiet location. You can cycle to the beach in about 5 minutes. It really is more than a 5 minute walk as it is stated. As others have said shower €0.50 and then you shower for about 8 minutes. We had a great place to stand. (no. 24) Beautiful area for cycling.

Beautiful camper place, friendly owner. He wants to expand over time with the showers and toilets (there are now only two of them and looked neat) Nice place to walk, saw squirrel in the morning. Now very quiet.

Toilet container is very dated, but luckily we have everything with us☺️. Friendly welcome, but not a place where we come back. The surroundings are beautiful.

As everyone says, view is beautiful! That is really 5 *. Enjoy when you wake up and have a sea view! You do need blocks to stand up. For € 10 this is not expensive, no electricity or other facilities. But yes, we have everything with us ourselves.

Kindly received and were allowed to choose a spot themselves. Lovely view of the forest. You can enjoy a nice walk and cycling is also recommended. Lovely hot shower and toilet room and some music, cozy! Shower € 1, the rest is included in the price. (€ 15)

Friendly welcome and a tour. Everything looks neat and tidy. Wonderfully quiet and beautiful view of a small pool where two swans came in the evening. Grass neatly mowed, and various opportunities to undertake such as free canoeing, there is a fishing rod for fishing! There was even apple pie in the fridge for a small fee. We stayed here for 1 night (because unfortunately we have to work again).

We stood with a wonderful unobstructed view. Unfortunately the electricity was not sufficient, our refrigerator always switched to gas because the voltage did not exceed 205 voltage. (via victron my husband can check that) For the rest, a great neat campsite!

Spaciously laid out campsite. There are a few pitches suitable for large motor homes. If you want to make sure you get a spot, make a reservation or call. Nice pool, beautiful surroundings, lots to see! From the campsite you can walk (with some climbing and scrambling) to a waterfall. Beautiful nature definitely recommended. Very nice people who work there!

Friendly, we were allowed to walk to see if the place was to our liking. The spots are different in size. Toilet and showers neat and clean. For when you come by tent, beautiful places in the forest, close to the river. We have been here for 1 night and it was wonderfully quiet.

Very expensive with the camper for 3 people with electricity, we lost € 45 for 1 night. Left the next day. Many Dutch and small children. Many campsites in the area are already full. Because our daughter was with us, Wi-Fi was important to her ;-) We stood next to the Wi-Fi receiver but no Wi-Fi, it was so slow that it just didn't work.

We could choose from two places, both in full sun. We were tired and didn't feel like driving on. Our daughter also wanted to cool off in the pool. Unfortunately the pool water was very warm so it didn't offer much cooling. It was better to stay at the lake. The place where we stood was very crooked. Mega busy so I stood overnight.

Friendly reception, even baking two baguettes was no problem. There are two sanitary blocks. With one building you sit with your legs against the door. Camping is very suitable for small children. We have been here for two days and it was wonderfully quiet. We give a 7 because everything is a bit outdated, but it is neat!

Very quiet on the campsite. We were there with the camper, for 3 people. + electric time we paid € 19.40. We wanted to take a cooling dip in the pool, unfortunately out of use. Showering very small and not clean, also the sanitary was not really clean. Because it was quiet, it was a great place to stand. It was advertised on the internet that it would be an SVR campsite, this is no longer true.

Quiet overnight stay, 2 toilets and 2 showers, these have been renewed! No coins but push button, great for each other. We were in the afternoon when there was still room, later more campers came that unfortunately no longer had a place. Great camper place.

Friendly reception, where we were it was very tight. We have been there 1 night. It was very busy because of the corona. Places do differ from each other, we think you are the most beautiful at the pool.

We had chosen place 22 to stand because of the beautiful view. But when I sat in my chair outside, away view. We then had a view of the hedge that is there. We had not taken this into account for a while 😀 To get free WiFi you have to subscribe to their newsletter, otherwise you cannot use the internet. This is not mentioned anywhere, but it is just that you know.

Beautiful motorhome. Grass neatly cut, everything is well organized. View is beautiful, birds that you hear whistling, birds of prey that float along, in short, a place to relax.

We wanted to empty our dirty water here, the site said they were open. But they were closed on arrival. There was a car parked where you could deposit your water so no possibility.

We are now on this cp. Calm at this time. Nice hot and clean showers (pay, but is not expensive.) Just a pity that the water is shut off at the chemical toilet. Just rinsing the place was not possible and you still want to leave it neat. The part where you can discharge your dirty water was under the leaves and was hidden. Will be good in the summer, but now that was a bit disappointing.
