Beautiful view, a great play area for the kids, and a lovely area for hiking. The only downside is that it comes with a hefty price tag, as this is the only campsite in Engelberg. But the nature around Engelberg is definitely worth a visit.

The campsite was recently completely renovated. The sanitary facilities are very clean and modern, and the pitches are spacious. The free use of the public swimming pool, within walking distance, is definitely a plus. It's an ideal pool for small children. The only downside is the lack of greenery and shade.

The circular pitches have their pros and cons. There's a play area for children in the middle, but a little less privacy. There's a very nice playground and a lovely pool. During peak times, the sanitary facilities aren't 100% clean, but they are cleaned frequently.

Contrary to other reviews, we were lucky enough to be able to pitch on the grassy field just behind the playground. Very quiet and plenty of space. Friendly welcome, a bit dated sanitary facilities, but everything clean and functional. A nice play area for the kids. A good base for visiting Cochem and the zoo.
