lovely little parking place. under a flyover, but the noise is not too disturbing. quiet at night. very long 40minute walk into the town along a busy and boring main road with little or no proper footpath. but, we don’t mind a wander so it was fine for us ! the parking place in the town is HUGE !!!! I’m not sure I’ve ever seen so many motorhomes all in one place ! so we preferred this one 👍

lovely rural stop over. chairs and table out thanks to the sunshine ☀️. standing on grass. surrounded by trees. honesty box if the owner is not there. good 4€ …. very quiet nights sleep !

good overnight stop. safely tucked away in a dedicated space behind the church.

for us …. the perfect stop over ! rural views. picnic tables. right on a footpath / cycle track leading all the way up to Santo Domingo de la Calzada. next to the river Rio-Oja which was dry in early October. nice laid back town. sadly, the services were not in use. but it’s still free to stay !

nice large c park. no shade. next to large supermarket. next to lovely old walled town which comes alive at 8pm onwards. lots of restaurants and cafes.

lovely dedicated area. picnic tables, which is a bonus ! lovely walks and possibly cycle rides as the terrain is not too hilly. sadly didn’t meet the nice gentleman with the brochures, but he may be on holiday ? really nice town with a great plaza. nice pizza from Diego’s !

good, partly on grass parking spot. no services apart from a bin. very nice town on the side of a steep hill … be warned ! 😮‍💨 it’s a long steep walk back up from the harbour. the only restaurants open in the evening late September were much lower down the hill towards the harbour.

excellent location at the top of the hill overlooking the lovely town of Luarca. grass had been mown. picnic tables and bbq’s provided. all the services work ok. nice to have a free parking where we can actually sit out. situated at the station overlooking a railway viaduct. not very frequent electric trains so no disturbance. 10 minutes walk down the hill to the lovely fishing town .. port .. 2 beaches. lovely stopover !!

definitely not suitable for motorhomes larger than 6 metres. steep winding narrow road down to these 2 small parking and picnic places by the beach. parking area could potentially be muddy if wet weather. good walking area. walk up to the Ermita de la Regalina for great views !

large parking spot. 20 minutes walk to beach. 40 mins to town. take bikes if you have them. great views from the church on the hill across the river ! all services working when we were there. excellent free stop over.

3 stars for the Aire plus 1 extra star for the location. Railway station car park. Services all working fine. Not busy when we were there late season. Spaces very narrow so mohos parking in alternate spaces. Could cause problems in high season maybe. Nice and quiet. Railway hourly into Santander. Gorgeous town ! Sunday morning market.

2 nights. parking spaces are a good size. all services working and clean. railway station a couple of minutes walk up a hill. 30 minutes train ride into Bilbao centre. trains every 15 minutes. Recommend Cafe Bar ‘BideGorri’. very reasonable priced food and drinks and very friendly ! Absolutely brilliant free stop over …. Thank you Zamudio 😊

no facilities, which was fine for us. village hall car park. quiet small town location. right next to a small carrefour which opens at 8am … great for fresh croissants 😊

nice stopover. quiet rural location next to a racecourse. slightly winding and hilly drive up to it. owner comes to collect your 3euros. the toilet flush wasn’t working when we stayed which meant emptying wasn’t a pleasant experience ! we left it cleaner than we found it.

A great place to chill out for a couple of days. Overlooking the river on large stepped plots. More of a campsite setup. The cycle path runs next to the river into the town. Cost us €10 a night in early September when the wine festival was in full swing. Included all services. Continental plug required for hookup.

Excellent location for a short cycle ride along a cycle path to Baden Baden. Arrived just after midday and there were plenty of spaces. Filled up as the day went on. Baden Baden is a nice destination for a day. Beautiful buildings in this Spa town. Upmarket shops with upmarket prices!

Really neat and tidy car park behind Olive Factory and Guardia Civil. Toilet emptying but only one tap. Old town is really beautiful, classy and with amazing panoramic views over the Olive fields and mountains. The new town has great shopping opportunities!

Car Park right on a lovely beach. No facilities so come prepared. Supermarkets in town. This is a large purpose built holiday town, almost deserted when we were here in late September. There's a great walk / cycle track along the sea front, passing bars, restaurants and shops, mostly closed. Very last restaurant overlooking the rock served us the best Paella ever ! Sunsets to die for !

An excellent safe overnight stop with free facilities. Neat, tidy and well set out. A 20 minute walk into the old town. We found a friendly bar but struggled to find anywhere to eat.

Convenient for Calais. Nice seaside town with shops 5 mins walk. Lovely long beach, good views across the Channel. Parking shared with dedicated bus park. I would imagine v busy at peak season. Sadly, some m'homes took up 2 spaces ... Rude !
