Excellent CP for visiting Orvieto. The funicular is nearby. We paid €22, including all amenities. High-speed trains pass by frequently during the day and in the evening. This can be disturbing. But at night, there are no trains, and it's quiet.
Sitecode: 23194
We were here on November 19th. We stayed overnight, but didn't see anyone to pay. Apparently, it's free in the off-season. Wonderfully quiet. Beautiful archaeological site and museum.

According to the information, this CP should be open year-round. We arrived in October and everything was closed. Therefore, only one star. The terrain does look attractive, with lovely flat pitches. It's located 1 km from Pantalica, a beautiful gorge with an 8 km hiking trail.
