What more could you want as a self-drive camper? Just a spot where you can park without any hassle. No unnecessary lines, barriers, parking apps, reservations, no-parking signs, etc. Thanks, Municipality. In France, self-drive campers have the same parking permits as in the Netherlands.

Great location. Quiet during the day and at night. No facilities. Flat pitches 20 metres from a stream. Cycling along the water to Bar-le-Duc and further along the Marne - Rein canal with many locks. Butcher in the village, further shops in Bar-le-Duc, 15 to 20 minutes by bike. Very brief visit from a marten, but the marten repellent under the bonnet had the good effect. Simple but fine food in restaurant across the bridge.

Slept well here for 2 nights, the night is very quiet, little noise during the day. Can sit outside in the grass by the river with rapids. Maas cycle path nearby to north and south.
