Aire de Camping-Car Parc Carcassonne

€27 for 2 nights, no ehu available on the Aire, would definitely be a bonus if it was. Entry barrier was broken, checked in at camp site reception next door, issue also with water, grey water and chem system, however we were allowed to use the camp site facilities. Pleasant walk into Carcassonne old town along the river. The castle is mighty impressive well worth the steep climb up on cobble street 😊

Great place. Two nights; one following pathway behind site until right sign taking us to cite. Second day kept walking until old bridge to left taking us to town square fountain/bars/restaurants. Walk/cycle safe and lit at night. Note: entry machine you select your language, but when paying with card you have to select again (very small writing on payment machine asks option 1or2 for language… easy to think you put PIN here, its not, and cancels!

The rest area is beautiful and convenient. The entry and exit barrier system definitely needs to be revisited!
