La Goelette

Surprisingly nice, small campsite right by the sea, small beaches right on the doorstep where you can swim, sanitary facilities are clean, somewhat dated and minimal when the campsite is full. Friendly lady at reception, small terrace with a small food/drink menu, 12 Ampere electricity.

Prime location, right on the sea. Sanitary facilities are very dated and lacking. Reasonably clean, though. Showers and dishwashing are not available between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. La Bernerie is a nice holiday village with amenities (a 5-minute bike ride) and lots of French people. We were the only "foreigners" on the campsite. No mass tourism. Pornic, very nice, a 30-minute bike ride (cycle paths).

A very nice campsite right by the sea! The owners are very friendly! The only thing they don't have is a greywater disposal area!
