This space has been subject to a fee since 2023 and is to be expanded into a fully-fledged RV park (investment costs €50,000). There is currently no infrastructure available here! The calculation of the fees is somewhat unusual. First, there is a €4 parking fee between 7pm in the evening and 10am in the morning. In addition, campers have to pay a night fee. In total, one night costs 9€.

A good place. Very quiet. We paid 7 euros for 24 hours. There is a (clean) toilet. the sink gives hot water. At the tourist office in the village, 400 meters, good information about the region and how to get to Monschau by public transport. that is good to do. If the regional bus is not running, there is a dial-a-bus. Not bothered by the football or the mtb job. You can sit at a large picnic table or under a shelter.
