Am Bowling Treff

Great, quiet campsite. Plenty of spacious pitches and power outlets. The owner was very friendly and gave excellent tips about nearby attractions. Adding to what was already mentioned: the cycle route to Wörlitz is beautiful, and the train to Lutherstadt Wittenberg is highly recommended. Less than a 10-minute walk to Meinsdorf station. Giant parasol mushrooms grow around the campsite in the autumn, which you can eat. We stayed for four nights. Very quiet at night.

Neat CP behind the bowling alley with spacious places on a kind of sedum surface. Costs € 10,-/night and electricity and water via machines: 1.67 kWh for € 1,- and 80 ltr for € 1,-. Or 10 cents for a watering can full. The manager is not super friendly but he is helpful. Due to a shortage of staff there was no hot food available, but there was an extensive bar. There are beautiful bike rides along the Elbe and to Wörlitz! In Dessau you can view Bauhaus art.

Attention passers-by: only discharging gray water and/or emptying a cassette toilet costs €3! If you also stay overnight, this is included in the overnight rate of € 10. The not very customer-friendly manager/owner strictly monitors this, after all, his investment must yield a return. Water €1 for 80 litres. Otherwise not a bad, somewhat boring looking camper place with spacious pitches, that's for sure.
