Campinplatz Am Großen Teich

A small campsite with all the amenities. Very well-maintained and clean. A herb garden for picking at the entrance. A small swimming pool! A charming town accessible via the green belt is 2km away. The lake is accessible from the campsite through a gate; we didn't find it suitable for swimming due to the cloudy water and seaweed. €35 per night for 2 people + electricity.

The manager is humorous and very customer-friendly. Swimming is possible in the lake, but in certain wind directions, there may be floating debris/blue-green algae. Supermarket a 10-minute walk away. Beautiful castle a 30-minute walk. Cold beer, soft drinks, and ice cream are available at reception. City beach with a bar a 5-minute walk from the lake. This weekend there's a gothic festival going on; the music is audible but not disruptive. Rolling clothes dryer, excellent restrooms, super-fast dishwasher, beautiful spots. Top location.

A cozy campsite with friendly, dedicated staff. Very clean sanitary facilities. I don't think you'll find that anywhere else. We stayed here for three days and had a great time.
