Húsavík Campground

Well, that's a bit tricky: Clean sanitary facilities (2 showers!!). People squeeze into a spot until late at night. Almost every square meter is "rented out"—no supervision, but there's a ticket office. Close to the charming town center. In short: a great place to stay to visit Husavik for whale watching.

Positive points. Close to the nice centre of husavik! Fairly new sanitary facilities. Friendly manager. Campingcard can be used, then only pay tax and possibly electricity! Negative points. Total indeed only 2 showers for a lot of people!.. Quite a lot of toilets! Campers/vans drive around the campsite until late looking for a spot.....very annoying! Bad terrain especially when it is very wet with many skid marks!!

In itself a nice camping, but few showers for the number of campers that come to the camping at the end of the day. only two. otherwise fine facilities. The restaurant down in the harbor Gamli Laukur is recommended for atmosphere.
