Clifden Campsite and Caravan Park Shanaheever

Beautiful and quiet campsite with excellent and clean facilities. The pitches are spacious and spread across the campsite. We were welcomed extremely kindly and given a great pitch, even though we had not reserved and it was quite busy. We paid €38 including electricity.

Nice campsite, friendly welcome. Spacious pitches, clean sanitary facilities with good showers. Clifden is a nice town 2.5 km away. We drove to the National Park (12 km) to hike Diamond Hill (very beautiful) and to Killymore Abbey (16 km) (well worth it). We paid €38 for two people (including electricity and showers).

A very nice campsite with a friendly owner. Letterfrack is a half-hour bike ride away, from where you can climb Diamond Hill in Connemara.
