Welcome to Modern Hippy Campsite, an enchanting retreat tucked away in rural Toldijk, amidst the lush natural surroundings of the Bronckhorst municipality. Our campsite offers a unique and complete experience for those who love peace, nature, and the great outdoors—with NEW BATHROOMS! Let yourself be transported by our lush orchard, where each pitch is surrounded by fruit trees, butterflies, and the soothing sound of birdsong. It's a place where time slows down and where you can truly unwind after a day of exploring. The surrounding area invites you to walk and cycle along expansive fields, hedgerows, and quiet country roads, perhaps encountering curious wildlife along the way. Modern Hippy Campsite offers 10 spacious pitches spread across over 10,000 square meters of orchard. Each pitch has its own character and has been carefully chosen to offer peace, space, and privacy in a natural setting. Whether you prefer sun, shade, or shelter among the trees, you'll find a spot to suit you. Our campsite is designed with comfort in mind. Starting in 2026, our guests will have access to a brand-new, modern sanitary building, located indoors and freshly decorated. The sanitary facilities include toilets and comfortable hot showers, sustainably heated by solar water heaters. This allows you to enjoy the outdoors without compromising on convenience and hygiene—completely in harmony with nature. For cozy moments together, fire bowls, tripods, and campfire pots are available. Perfect for long evenings around the fire, sharing stories, and preparing simple meals under the stars. For those seeking adventure, inflatable SUP boards are available for rent to explore the area from the water. Our farm shop is an important part of your stay. Here you'll find a wide selection of local and (organic) products: from freshly squeezed juices and crisp salads to seasonal vegetables, artisanal dairy products, meat, and tasty regional produce. Start your day with delicious Achterhoek spelt bread or easily create a meal to enjoy at your tent or campervan. Relax on the terrace with a tasty treat and a view of the orchard.
