Kilefjorden Camping

Lovely in nice weather, nice wood-fired sauna, nice spots to pitch. The water is a bit shallow, but therefore safe for children. The water does get deeper faster away from the sauna, a tip if you really want to swim. Just a no-nonsense campsite without fixed pitches.

Beautiful, idyllic spot. No playground for the children, but we didn't miss it. There is a small house on the beach with beach toys. The swing chair hanging from the tree was great. Just had new canoes delivered. We took a trip to the uninhabited island that is visible from the campsite.

What a beautiful place. Friendly people and a warm welcome. Neat and clean restrooms, and wonderfully hot showers. There's a barbecue hut and some fire pits here and there. You can choose your own pitch, and in the late season, there's a generous selection. We were supposed to stay for two nights, but ended up staying three. Unfortunately, we had to move on. We couldn't use the sauna because our bike ride took a bit longer. Highly recommended!
