Parking Å

Free large tarmac parking area with marked motorhome bays which have a 6 hour time limit, we used parking disc on arrival. Path to centre of historic traditional village by toilets. Motorhome bays are large, full after we arrived on our morning visit.

Convenient for visiting the city or sleeping overnight, you can park for 6 hours with a parking disc. Obviously, there's total anarchy, with buses and campers coming and going at all hours. No bathrooms or other amenities. There's a small bar, but it doesn't have coffee :(

Formally, this is allowed for a maximum of 6 hours for 5 months. Many people do not understand Norwegian. No further facilities at the kiosk toilets. The road afterwards is narrow and winding.
