Camping Bucuria

Correct camping, but nothing more. All facilities available, sometimes a bit primitive. Very friendly and helpful staff. The week before Pentecost everything was prepared for the new season, also at the beach. There was almost nothing open yet.

We found this a surprisingly nice camper place. A bit dated but certainly acceptable for Romanian standards. Close to the Black Sea. Restaurants and shops within walking distance. We paid 80 RON per night for a camper with 2 people at the end of May.

A relic from the socialist era. Improvements are underway, however. A new sanitary container has been added, although it's very small for the size of the site. The campsite was completely empty last season. Some of the roads within the site are very narrow.
